Joyce Fournier is a Toronto based Portrait Artist and Landscape Painter who categorizes her work as a combination of Impressionism and Contemporary

Realism executed in mixed media to include oil, acrylic, and charcoal. Having a strong passion for interpreting the human expression, Joyce is a proud member of the Portrait Society of Canada. She has exhibited in several solo and group

shows within Canada and internationally and recently received an Award of Excellence from Art Domain Gallery as part of the 2008 Palm Art Award

Exhibition, Leipzig Germany. In January 2009, Joyce’s passion for interpreting the human form took her to the

Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in Chelsea, New York, were she was invited to exhibit her Mixed Media figurative works of women in private moments as part of

the ‘Mirrors of the Invisible’ exhibition.Future exhibitions will take Joyce once again to Italy in December 2009 where

she will participate in the 7th edition of the prestigious Florence Biennale and to New York City in January 2010 where she will exhibit works at the New Arts

Center.Joyce’s work is found in private collections in Canada, the USA, and Germany.

   She is also the owner / curator of STUDIO VOGUE Gallery in Toronto, Canada
