JOVAN LANDRY Recording Artist & Producer, “OneThirdEmcee” Jovan Landry is an Interdisciplinary Artist with a focus on Film, Photography & Hip-Hop Music based in Chicago, Illinois. The "One Third Emcee" is known for her articulated-conscious lyrics & high-energy stage presence. In 2008 at the age of 16, Jovan was introduced to producing music through a family member. Several months following, Jovan grabbed the pen and began crafting her own lyrics. Inspired by Left Eye, Eve, Common, Missy Elliott, Kendrick Lamar & Shawnna has allowed her find her voice, and an outlet to express her true feelings. In the span of her career, Jovan has released several singles and albums, as well as collaborated with other artists including Mykele Deville, and performed on over 50 showcases from small to large. In December of 2016, Jovan added more color & versatility to her sound by leading her own 5-piece band consisting of drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keys and saxophone.
