and methods.
It helps to decrease the uncertainty of reaching
the desired business goal.
It helps the organization stays on track to reach
the desired destination.
How journey management works
1. Assess the current state and drivers for change.
Recognizing the need for change and
make people aware if it.
Understanding the nature of shared problems
and challenges.
Understand the current state of the business

Agree on what the new destination
Define a specific and measurable benefits.
3.Understand the gap between the current and future state
Analyze the gap
4. Create a strategic roadmap
The roadmap defines the set of activities that must
be undertaken to achieve the future state.
Make a transformation plan and set up processes
to make team journey successful.
Align teams around goals and progress.
Prepare the organization, the systems AND the
people ready for journey
5. Execute the journey plan , periodically reassess
measure the outcomes and alter
the plans if necessary.
Remember Journey management is strategic, not like tactical change
management.
