JOULES Services Limited is a firm incorporated and resident in Nigeria

supplying total Engineering, Procurement, Construction And Installation

solutions to the Oil & Gas Industry and across a variety of other

industries. Right from the start of operations, JOULES has grownexponentially bringing together professionals from different fields in the

bid to provide multi-disciplinary world class best practices in the

industry. JOULES is formed and steered by Oil & Gas Industry Experts

drawn from Notable Operator and Service firms within and Outside

Nigeria. They bring with them wealth of experience and expertise.

Through her technical competence and strategic alliances, JOULES is able to deliver quality and cost effective solutions

JOULES has an experience pool of over 105 years in its key personnel and directors who at different times served in

different companies and in different positions within the Oil & Gas industry delivering notable projects. Our areas of

WHO WE ARE: Corporate Registrations

JOULES is registered with DPR both in the Specialized and Major categories for the provision of Major Construction

Services Installation and Upgrade of Onshore & Offshore Production Facilities and Platform, Production Facility

Maintenance and Pipeline Maintenance Services.

Having registered fully with NIPEX in very strategic and relevant areas, JOULES is equally registered with Key IOCs

and Service firms such TOTAL & EXPROTECH.

YARD LAYOUT & STRUCTURES:

Our base office is located within Sunatech Yard at Km 16 PH/ Aba Expressway, Opposite INTELS Camp Port

Harcourt. This facility comprises of a three storey administrative building (With about 70 offices), a fabrication

workshop (Dimensions 60m x 14.5m x 13.5m), Closed Blasting & Painting Bay (About 28m x 14.5m x 13.5m),Closed Material Warehouse (Linked to the Administrative Block), Maintenance Workshop, Power Generator House,

Open space for fabrication and material stacking and Security gate house.

Other sister firms offering different services are equally located within this facility.

Our Fabrication yard is adequately equipped to produce about 30 50 tons steel fabrication works per month. Our

equipment are adequately and routinely maintained. Few of the numerous key equipment we have include:

PERSONNEL COMPETENCE:

JOULES has an experience pool of over 105 years in its key personnel and directors who at different times served in

different companies and in different positions within the Oil & Gas industry delivering notable projects. The technical

competence of our people (Based on Trainings & Experience) remain our key business secret hence our people being

our most valued asset.

We therefore place great value on the career prospects of our employees and remain a willing partner in the quest for

their career development and advancement. We have a formal staff development scheme, incorporating performance

appraisal and development training both local and overseas in other to satisfy identified development needs.

Our Construction Manager has undergone training and certification in Amsterdam on ASME VIII Division I Design &

Fabrication of Pressure Vessels and Inspection, Repairs and Alteration of Pressure Vessels. We have equally trained all

key staff on relevant courses/ trainings organized by DNV in alliance with Technological Institute of Norway. Few ofthese include Advanced Project Management, Project Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, Materials

Handling and Control, Fabrication Technology, Advanced Quality Management System. Few are shown below:

QHSES: Quality Management System & Quality Policy Statement

We have established an effective quality management system in conformance with ISO 9001:2000 in order to

always ensure the delivery of products in compliance with best industry standards. We have initiated the steps

towards certifying our processes and are presently at the stage of third party audit The first phase of this has

been done.

JOULES is committed to providing quality products and services that meets clients requirements while

conforming to the provisions of all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and also to the continual

improvement in the effectiveness of its quality management systems and processes.

This policy is achieved by creating values through excellence in our people, quality and innovations. This

provides the basis for completing projects consistently in time and within budget through deployment of the best

engineering practices and the application of the latest industry technology in the execution of projects.

This policy provides the framework for setting and reviewing the companys quality objectives and is

The expertise knowledge and management strategy of the owners and operators of JOULES guarantees the

strategic growth and sound positioning of the firm amongst the leading indigenous EPCI firms in Nigeria. The

strategy includes amongst others the recruitment of very experienced and committed professionals, investment in

facility and manpower development and forming very strategic alliances. We have initiated also the certificationof our yard for the issuance of U Stamp.

JOULES has formed a number of technical synergies with firms strategic to her operations. This complements the

capabilities and service delivery of JOULES in these areas. Notable on the list of such synergies are:

1. ERGIL Group Turkey: The group comprises of ERGIL Engineering & Construction, STORAGE Tech, ERGIL

Corrosion Control, RHINO Process Equipment etc. ERGIL Engineering & Construction specializes in the

design, engineering and construction of storage tanks, pressure vessels/ process equipment. Our partnership

agreement with ERGIL permits us technical support from their Engineering team and their involvement in

project execution where necessary.

2. LOYAL Equipment PVT India: LOYAL is a certified manufacturer of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers,

Boilers and Structural Platforms having both U & U2 Stamps. Our synergy here allows us technical supportwith respect to in-country manufacture and certification of pressure vessels.

We have established very good relationship with our banks permitting their involvement in financing our

projects where required. Under this relationship, we have them come in as project financiers thus they form part

of the project management team with respect to financing, cost control and use of right resources. This functions

they are able to do at times through a third party consulting firm.

Besides investors funds, JOULES will always take adequate steps to ensure at all times that our projects are not

stalled due to poor funding.
