JOTI in Finland

- 1st JOTI was arranged in Finland in 1997, in IRCnet by Netscouts

- Since 2001 Finns have had own language channels in 2 networks: IRCnet & ScoutLink

- Main happening in Helsinki, arranged by Netscouts (not every year)

- Some groups make local meetings

• During JOTI kids need something to do so .. here’s list of something they can do in Finland:– JOTI badge – IRC – lily (you irc for many hrs….)– collect names to JOTI map– JOTA– also can do parts of badges you do as learning

• Best known group in Finland is probably Vaalan Metsänkävijät (VaaMe - http://pato.vaala.fi/joti/) who has participated 6 times to JOTI
