Graduate Design Engineer – EKSPAN Limited, Sheffield (November 2013 – Present)

Achievements and responsibilities:

Modelling and drafting components in Solidworks, and updating drawings of components.

Analysing models for FEA analysis, quality checking Design and benchmarking of the spherical range of bearings to the new

Eurocode, updating the existing models and calculations to bring them into the new format.

Site work including installation and maintenance of expansion joints and bearings, the testing of bearings and wind turbine blade testing rig modifications.

I have lead the project in designing a new GE range of bearings which will be being used on some upcoming assignments.

Short notice site work countrywide and also continental I have been listed as design manager on more recent projects.

Achievements and responsibilities:

Life Guard patrols pool side. Good communication skills when assisting the general public with

enquires. Preparing facilities and equipment in the sports hall and workout room for

the various classes Supervising activities and children’s parties in the sports hall and pool. Performing first aid when required Attend regular mandatory life guard training Remain calm in challenging situations Have the ability to take control as a leader when required. Work will with a team.

Voluntary Cricket Coach – New Mills Cricket Club, New Mills (April 2007 – Present)

Achievements and responsibilities:

Assist training and coaching the Junior cricket teams and squads at Under 9s, 11s, 13s, 15s and 17s

Before starting University I would manage the Under13 side, organising and running training and games and coordinate travel arrangements for the players to away games, reporting the results to the league body.
