I am conscientious and diligent in all aspects of the work I undertake. Working for my current employer Ekspan I am as highly motivated as I was at university when working on projects and creating prototypes of my own design. I have great personal pride, when taking projects large and small through to completion, whether as part of a team or more recently on my own.I understand the importance of team work; being a member of my local cricket team from the age of nine and also playing social five-a-side football.I hold a clean driving licence and own my own car.

Graduate Design Engineer – EKSPAN Limited, Sheffield (November 2013 – Present)

Achievements and responsibilities:

Modelling and drafting components in Solidworks, and updating drawings of components.

Analysing models for FEA analysis, quality checking Design and benchmarking of the spherical range of bearings to the new

Eurocode, updating the existing models and calculations to bring them into the new format.

Site work including installation and maintenance of expansion joints and bearings, the testing of bearings and wind turbine blade testing rig modifications.

I have lead the project in designing a new GE range of bearings which will be being used on some upcoming assignments.

Short notice site work countrywide and also continental I have been listed as design manager on more recent projects.

For 8 years I have volunteered at my local cricket club as a junior coach I also play on the senior first team.
