• Online Gambling consists of many things; from gambling on sporting events, playing poker, slot games, blackjack, roulette, and many other table games.

• Revenue from gambling sites being taxed going to the government– Numbers show over 10 years it could generate 42
Billion• The government would also be able to tax the
winnings made by customers online.• Would make gambling safer and cut down on
illegal gambling that fuels crime.

Cases of Online Gambling being Prosecuted
• In June 2009, the U.S. Department of Justice seized over $34 million belonging to over 27,000 accounts to people who live in New York.
• Then President Bush told all banks to not pay out or accept winnings from gambling sites. This has since been found tough to monitor.
