• Revenue from gambling sites being taxed going to the government– Numbers show over 10 years it could generate 42

Billion• The government would also be able to tax the

winnings made by customers online.• Would make gambling safer and cut down on

illegal gambling that fuels crime.

- Pennsylvania and Delaware are considering adding table games to the casinos they currently

- Colorado expanded casino hours, raised max bets, and promitted roulette

- Missouri eliminated a river boat law that limited gambling losses to only 500 dollars.-

Cases of Online Gambling being Prosecuted

• In June 2009, the U.S. Department of Justice seized over $34 million belonging to over 27,000 accounts to people who live in New York.

• Then President Bush told all banks to not pay out or accept winnings from gambling sites. This has since been found tough to monitor.
