Dynamic Catholic, Alive! Divine Power
The raising of the widow’s son helps us understand the person of Christ, who is true God and true man (two natures united in one person). This miracle shows that Christ has power over nature, while pointing towards Christ’s resurrection and the general resurrection. Through His passion, death has been transformed by Christ. We can also rise from spiritual death through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, especially during this Year of Mercy. Have you experienced rising from spiritual death into life?
The summer office hours are as follows:
Parish Office - Monday thru Friday 8:30am -12:00pm School Office - Tuesday & Wednesday 9:00am - 3:00pm
This week a new roof was put on the preschool building. I want to thank Nick Auchly for get-
ting the job done as soon as school was out. I also signed the contract for the repaving of the church parking lot and drive to the bus shed. Concrete and paving work has been slow to schedule because of all the rain we’ve been having. When all of that is being done, we may have to celebrate Mass in the school for a few days. I will keep you posted as things develop. June is the last month of our fiscal year. Financially we close the books on the last day of June. As you can see in this bulletin, we currently are behind our projected income for the fiscal year by nearly $13,500. If you are behind in your contributions to the parish, June would be the month to catch up. We do not want to end the fiscal year in the red. Let us pray for each other this week.
Father Bob Samson

Stewardship Awareness “And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, ‘Do not weep.’” Luke 7:13 This verse is a great reminder that the Stewardship lifestyle is one of service, putting God first and to “love one another.” Unfortunately today, many people have “passion” for activities they enjoy - their job and off-work activities. Many times our “passion” to excel is at the expense of someone else. Maybe we need to focus on a little less passion for our individual concerns and a lot more compassion for others.
Attn: TEENS FED Youth Group will meet today, Sun., Jun. 5 in the cafeteria from 7-8:30pm. Open to all high school teens. Bring a friend! For more info contact our youth minister Brad Baumgarten at [email protected].

“Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use vio-lence to get what they want. That is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abor-tion.” -Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta
This weekend, St. Paul Parish is celebrating 25 years of Perpetual Adoration in our Eucharistic Chapel. Thank you to the parishioners of St.
Joseph Parish who throughout the years have committed their time to pray in our chapel. Due to your generosity, we have been able to have this great blessing in our parish even to this present day. May God bless you for this gift to us!
