When Rizal grew to manhood, he always
called her sisters Doña or Señora (if
married) ir Señorita (if single).
Paciano was a second father to Rizal. Rizal
respected him and greatly valued his
sagacious advice. He immortalized him in his
first novel Noli Me Tangere as the wise

was situated near the town church and to buy another one.

hey owned a carriage, which was a status symbol of the
ilustradosilustrados (educated class) in Spanish Philippines and
private library (the largest in Calamba) which consisted of
1,000 volumes.
