Why Join?
“I love being a part of the Coalition be-
cause there are so many people from all
the different groups and communities
across the county. The collaboration has
been amazing. It doesn’t matter whether
you attend as a parent or as a professional,
we can share our ideas for substance
abuse prevention and they are heard.”
- Jenny Armstrong, Parent
“Creating and maintaining a safe and
healthy environment in Jones County is
essential to making our community a de-
sirable place to live and raise a family. The
work the coalition does has made a differ-
ence by measurably reducing the use of
drugs and alcohol by our youth.”
- Jim Johnson, Journal-Eureka newspaper
“I am so excited to be part of the Coali-
tion’s strategic focus as the positive voice
of substance abuse prevention. It is a
pleasure to be part of amazing group of
staff, community volunteers and parents/
grandparents who are equally concerned
about the welfare of their community’s
youth. I really feel like I fit right in!”
- Michael Elmore, Pastor, New Life Four-
square Church
