Tips For Creating A BrochureBe consistent: Use the same background

color, font style and sizes for the topic headings and the content body throughout your entire brochure.

Keep sentences short: Run-on sentences can sometimes be confusing for the reader (your audience).

Avoid jargon: Don’t assume that your audience will use or understand the same terminology as you. In other words, explain things in laymen terms so everyone can understand.

Tips For Creating A Brochure Cont.Avoid redundancy: Try not to repeat yourself

(ideas) over and over.

Grammar/Spelling: Check for spelling and grammar errors. You can do this by using the spell checker that is built into the application you are using. Also, proofread your brochure several times to catch errors that the spell checker may have missed.

Have another person proofread your brochure.
