d 14 Feb FLAM TO BERGEN Travel by ferry through the narrow Naeroyfjord to Gudvangen, then continue by bus to Voss. We join the train to Bergen arriving in the late afternoon/evening and transfer to our hotel. There will be time at leisure in Tallinn before boarding the ferry to return to Helsinki. 09 Feb KAKSLAUTTANEN After breakfast we take a horse sleigh ride through the forest to a traditional Sami Village, meet reindeer, have an opportunity to feed them followed by a warm soup lunch by an open fire. This afternoon the barking of enthusiastic dogs will welcome us to a husky safari. The highlight of our stay here, is an overnight stay in a glass igloo which feels like sleeping in the open, but is just as warm and cosy as a hotel. The igloo village is set away from lights in an opening surrounded by pine trees, making ideal conditions for watching the Northern Lights and enjoying starry skies. Prices are correct at the time of publication however all prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed once paid for in full by you. Please note that prices printed are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service. Such factors include currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. If you are concerned regarding these factors, please contact us to discuss the same. A non-refundable deposit of either $2500.00 per person for 21 day tour or $4,000.00 per person for 27 day tour, is payable at time of booking. Final balance is payable by 11 October 2019. A booking form must be completed on behalf of every member of your travelling party, at the time of paying your deposit. Credit card surcharge of 2.2% will apply to payment by Master Card, Visa Card or American Express card. 6. Please note that no changes to group flights are permitted. 7. Amendments and cancellation penalties: a. All amendments to your booking after payment of deposit will incur a fee of $250.00 per person; b. Documentation requiring re-issue will incur a fee of $350.00 per person; and c. All cancellations MUST be advised in writing and are subject to the following cancellation charges: i. cancellation up to 11 October 2019: Loss of deposit ii. cancellation between 12 October 2019 and 05 December 2019: 50 % of total tour cost; iii. cancellation on or after 06 December 2019: 100 % of total tour cost. 8. No refunds will be made for services included in the tour but not utilised. 9. Comprehensive Travel Insurance is mandatory and bookings are accepted subject to each passenger being covered by such travel insurance. You are required to provide proof of a valid certificate of currency / policy for travel insurance to cover this travel period. No documents will be provided until we are satisfied that a current certificate of insurance is provided. We reserve our right to determine what ‘adequate’ travel insurance is. In the event that ‘adequate’ travel insurance cannot be provided then you acknowledge that your travel arrangements will be cancelled and all monies paid will be forfeited. We can provide you with general information about the travel insurance options available to you prior to your booking. 10. All travellers must have a valid machine-readable passport for international travel with at least 6 months validity from the intended date of return. When assisting you with a booking we will assume that all travellers on the booking have a valid Australian passport. If this is not the case, you must let us know. It is important that you ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility (except to the extent caused by fault on our part). We can provide you with general information on visa and passport requirements that apply to international travel bookings you make with us. 11. It is your responsibility to check with your travel consultant whether any visas are required if travelling on anything other than an Australian passport. 12. All third parties listed in this publication including but not limited to Viking Cruises, Norway in a Nutshell, hotels, tour and transport providers, do not by virtue of their endorsements of this brochure represent themselves as contracting with you. You should also register your travel plans with DFAT, so that you may be more easily contacted in an emergency. 19. This brochure comprises the whole agreement between the parties. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation warranty or condition (expressed or implied) which is not otherwise referred to in this publication, these terms or conditions or agreed to in writing by the directors of TACF. 20. To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. Our liability will also be limited to the extent that any relevant international conventions, for example the Montreal Convention in respect of travel by air, the Athens Convention in respect of travel by sea, the Berne Convention in respect of travel by rail and the Paris Convention in respect of the provision of accommodation, limit the amount of compensation which can be claimed for death, injury, or delay to passengers and loss, damage and delay to luggage. Under circumstances where our liability cannot be excluded and where liability may be lawfully limited, such liability is limited to the remedies required of us under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law). This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with laws at the time being in force in the State of Western Australia and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Western Australia exercising jurisdiction in that State. 24. We respect your privacy and the personal information you provide to us with your booking form will be required to be disclosed to service providers on the tour, but only as is necessary to facilitate your arrangements. We will not be able to properly facilitate the booking, carriage and administration of your tour if you do not provide us with the information requested on the booking form. In particular, you agree that in certain circumstances (such as where you request us to book international travel for you), we are permitted to disclose your personal information to overseas recipients. Such recipients may include the overseas travel service providers (e.g. airlines, accommodation or tour providers) with whom you make a booking. These travel service providers will in most cases receive your personal information in the country in which they will provide the services to you or in which their business is based. We may also disclose your personal information to our overseas related entities and to service providers who perform services for us within and outside of Australia. Generally, we will only disclose your personal information to these persons in connection with facilitation of your travel booking and/or to enable the performance of administrative and technical services by them on our behalf.
