WHAT WE DO: Manufacturing upholstery/trim and restoring the interiors of Mercedes, Porsche & Jaguar classic cars is a thing of passion here at Heritage Upholstery/BAS Ltd. Jaguar Trim for over 24 years. Our team works exclusively on European classics from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s for selective customers worldwide who want the very best when finishing the upholstery for their baby. Often the cars have been in restoration for many years - paint & body, chrome, engine drive train rebuilding etc. - and now they just need to finish their car with the highest quality upholstery/trim and they will be finally on the road. We at Heritage are looking for the very best tradesmen/auto upholsterers in the USA to be a part of our winning team and we are willing to pay top wage. The position is in beautiful PALM SPRINGS, CA and the candidate must be willing to relocate. A moving allowance may be provided. WHAT WE OFFER: • Highly competitive wages based on experience (we pay top dollar nationwide) • Medical Plan Available • Full time 40 hour week with no seasonal layoffs (ever) • 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with lunch break and 2 paid coffee breaks • Very good work conditions in a fully air conditioned, state-of-the-art facility WHAT WE REQUIRE: • Experienced auto upholsterers/trimmers who understand quality work and enjoy working to the highest standard of workmanship (Pebble Beach quality). Maybe you’re a self-employed trimmer that has tired of the direct customer contact and the ups & downs of local business and cold winters. Join us in the sun with no headaches and a good steady income you can bank on. • Auto upholstery apprentices - someone just starting out with a little experience or someone who feels this trade is something they would be good at. We are willing to consider apprentices to train to be one of the best. • Sewing machine operators with experience in walking foot industrial sewing machines & twin needle machines who likes working to a high standard of accuracy. OUR FACILITY Work in a spacious, clean and professional production facility with many ma- chines and equipment rarely seen in most shops: • Gerber CAD/CNC cutting machine • 10 specialty sewing machines • Dielectric heat welding HF machines • 10 ton press machine • Professional glue spray station for extraction of all airborne glue solvents (good for long term health) • Specialty riveting machine WANTED: • Auto upholstery trimmer/tradesman • Auto upholstery trimmer apprentice • Sewing machine operators • Hablamos Español Work with Heritage!
