Have some fun and raise money for Willen Hospice by holding blue-themed fundraising events with your colleagues, school, friends and family. Go Blue for Willen celebrates the difference our care makes in the local community, which we simply couldn’t deliver without your support. We need to raise £9 a minute every day of the year to carry on supporting people living with life limiting illnesses. Every penny truly does count. Dress in blueHold a ‘dress blue’ day at your workplace or school.
Go subtle with a blue nails, or all out with top to toe denim, blue wig and
feather boa - it’s entirely up to you!
Nice Bucket ChallengeTake on our Nice Bucket Challenge! Simply contact us for a bucket and pledge to collect £100 (or more!) by the end of March. How you fill your bucket is up to you - hold a collection, take on chores or do something wacky to encourage people to donate. Nice buckets take
pennies and pounds!
Play a gameTake a break with your colleagues, or get together with your friends
and family and have a games afternoon! Ask people to donate £1 to play and have a laugh for a great cause. Visit our website for ideas!
Blue bake saleBake (or buy) blue cakes and other sweet treats and sell to your colleagues, friends or family for a donation. Download recipes and cake flags from our website, www.willen-hospice.org.uk/blue
Hold your boss or teacher ransomThis is one for all of the ‘good sports’ out there. If they’re up for it, gaffer tape your boss or teacher to the wall, £1 a minute to keep them up longer, or maybe an ‘escape room’ where they pay for clues, keys or a phone call.
