A Mythical Solution MythTV is a Free Open Source software digital video recorder (DVR) project distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL. MythTV project was started in April 2002 by Isaac Richards and the latest version 0.24 was released in Nov. 2010 7. What is MythTV? MythTV is a collection of software that provides digital video recording functionality e.g. PVR/DVR or simply a computerised VCR. Basic PVR functions are recording and playing back scheduled programs and allowing you to schedule recordings automatically in advance. Literary, dramatic, musical or artistic works can be copied for the purposes of instruction and of preparation for instruction provided: the copying is done by or on behalf of the person giving the instruction the copying is not by means of a reprographic process the copy is accompanied by sufficient acknowledgement. A copy of a recording, literary, dramatic work etc can be made for the purposes of setting or answering the questions in an examination.
