• It can be generally described as a change taking place in our cognition (=thinking, understanding)

• Educational system is a framework designed by people the aim is to educate people, to produce ”tax payers”…

When you get the best grade, does it mean you have learnt best?

Does it mean that you are a good learner?

When learning meets educational system…

Our aim as educators and experts on pedagogy, is to design such educational systems that would create the best conditions for learning to take place

The ”lecture-exam” approach is based on the earlier understanding of learning, paradigm of behaviorism

Today there is more talk about SCRIPTS

• Basic idea is to pre-design the process of the course /event in pedagogically relevant way

• Give help to the participants (e.g. support questions, beginning of sentences…)

• Danger of over-scripting – be aware not to harm the natural inteactions

How can technology support to create good conditions

for learning?• Integrating technology into

educational system does not only mean digitalising the learning content…

• It is easy to think that technology as such is ready for pedagogical use and the suitable ways of using it would be ”sold with” the technology itself

•No matter what the context - good quality learning needs always effort and work from the individual!

•The current learning paradigm suggests that learning takes place in individuals’ minds, with the help of (technological) tools and in social interaction
