“Job satisfaction” is the terminology used to describe whether employees are happy and contented and fulfilling their desires and needs at work.
Job satisfaction is defined as "the extent to which people like (satisfaction) or dislike (dissatisfaction) their jobs". This definition suggests job satisfaction is a general or global affective reaction that individuals hold about their job. While researchers and practitioners most often measure global job satisfaction, there is also interest in measuring different "dimensions" of satisfaction.

Job Satisfaction Driven By Compensation & Benefits.
“For organizations to be successful at competing for new talent and retaining employees, they have to know what workers want, what keeps them happy, and what makes them stay,”
“Addressing the essentials, including fair compensation, valuable benefits, and the ability to balance work and life are critical components of an organization’s overall retention strategy.”
Some factors of employee satisfaction are universal and consistent. Both employees and HR professionals note compensation and benefits are important to employee satisfaction.
There are more important factors that contribute to job satisfaction, such as relationships with immediate supervisors, management recognition of employee job performance and communication between employees and senior management.

SUGGESTIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS
Regular feedback and dialogue with superiors -Feedback is the key to giving employees a sense of where they’re going.
Quality of working relationship with peers and subordinates should be improved by providing them task which they can perform together in a team.
CONCLUSION
I conducted a job satisfaction survey in THDC, to discover what motivates people, what drives loyalty and what genuinely makes and keeps their employees happy and satisfied in their job.
And the conclusion of the survey is that employees are satisfied to an extent in their respective jobs. A majority of employees are satisfied with the company policy and condition .
"No matter how motivated an employee is; his or her performance is going to suffer if there isn't a supportive work environment.
