Schedule: Wednesday –Sunday (9:00 -12：00，13：30-18：00)



Accommodation Types

Accommodation is considered good by Chinese

standards and is conveniently located close to shops,

restaurants and public transportation to get to your host

company. They will be equipped with a bed, desk, chair,

wardrobe, air conditioner and bathroom.

This is typically the standard; however this may vary

from location to location. It must be acknowledged that

China is a developing nation and at times the

accommodation will be basic in comparison to what you

may be used to at home.

Orientation

Once you arrived in China and welcomed by our staff to our office, there will be an orientation

prepared for you. The orientation will assist you on adapting your new local life in China.

Orientation by Beijing Auchan will give you guides that help you prepare for your next few

months, the covered topics are:

• Introduction of the City

• Guide on public transportation

• Dealing with utilities

• Money exchanging

• Topping up credit for your

phone and transportation card

• Simple English to Chinese

survival phrases

• Introduction of city travel

Eligibility

We and our partner schools are looking for well-rounded

applicants who are independent, adventurous, and who adapt

well to new situations. Participants must be able to expect the

unexpected and thrive in a changing environment! It’s

essential that participants are self-motivated, responsible,

and recognize that their first priority is to their school and

their teaching assignment. 100% commitment to the

program is essential.

Teach in China Eligibility Requirements

• Be at least 20 years old

• Bachelor degree in any major

• English language fluency

Desirable Experiences

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification is strongly recommended

Teaching experience or TEFL certification, community involvement, sense of volunteerism,

experiences instructing children (e.g. summer camp counselor) and/or similar experiences

preferred

Experience studying, working, or volunteering abroad

Degree in English or Education



Salary & Benefits

A monthly salary of 9000RMB (the teaching in

China salary goes a long way as living costs are much

Learn Chinese with Beijing Auchan Transcom?

Chinese courses are optional, but we encourage you to

participate and register for classes. Acknowledge of Chinese will

make your stay more enjoyable. The course is given by Chinese

professors and skilled.

Students may register for individual classes or groups, and can

choose their level (beginner, intermediate or advanced). You will have exams at the beginning

and at the end of the courses.

If you choose the Chinese course, you can participate in activities. You will learn Chinese

Find your accommodation in Beijing with Beijing Auchan Transcom?

You have a project to go to China for academic

exchange, language learning or internship?

We guide you step-by-step for your accommodation

in China and in your installation. We offer you

professional services for finding you your apartment

in Beijing, as well as advice from our experts to

facilitate your selection and signing the lease.

However, we will assist you in your apartment search. We send you by e-mail photos and a

description of your future roommates. It is shared apartments with two or three people

(students, young professionals, etc..) Rents range from 2,500 to 3,500 RMB (approximately

360/450 EUR) per month, charges included or not, depending on the owner. It will also add 35%

of the amount of rent for placement fees. The deposit will be refunded if the apartment is left

undamaged.

The apartments are equipped but you probably need to buy blankets, pillows and towels.

PS: You can if you wish, seek your own apartment. Price is close to 4000 RMB, and Internet

charges will not be included in the amount of the program. Generally, you will be asked to put

at least 3months rent in advance.
