All three Rye school districts saw an upswing in number of homes sold with Rye City leaping up 41% from 29 homes sold in 2Q 2014 to 41 homes in 2Q 2015. Rye Neck moved up 100% from 2 homes in 2Q 14 to 4 homes in 2Q 15 and Harrison creeped up from 5 homes to 6 homes. Rye City experienced a 20% increase in Average Sold Price, from $1,674,028 in 2Q 2014 up and over the two million mark to $2,003,351 in 2Q 2015. A comparable rise in Rye City’s Average Price per Square Foot saw 2Q 2014’s $534 climb to $645 per square foot in 2Q 2015. Looking forward, the expected rise in interest rates may motivate buyers to lock in rates and purchase sooner, which gives an edge to well-positioned homes that are marketed correctly.

Although Pat joined the Thoroughbred team just about 6 months ago, he is no newcomer to the mortgage industry and no stranger to the Westchester marketplace. With years of experience in the business, Pat has earned the respect of just about every real estate professional in the area.
