JMC Charleston’s HistoryJMC Charleston was established in 2004 by native Charlestonian
Jay Mitchell Crosby
• More than twenty years of event industry experience including serving as a special events and meeting planning manager at Charleston Place, an Orient-Express hotel. At Charleston Place, Crosby managed high profile corporate accounts to include top insurance and pharmaceutical companies, produced social galas, and most incentive in-house programs. His success continued into a private venture.
• Crosby launched JMC Charleston in 2004 and quickly established his company as one of the top and most highly sought after firms for event design, production and management. Crosby was recently appointed to the publishing team of Charleston and Charleston Home magazines to serve as entertainment-style editor. Crosby's credentials also include catering and private venue development expertise.
• As co-producer of the BB&T Food and Wine Festival and the producer of the Patriots Point Foundation Fireworks Celebration for the opening of the Arthur Ravenel Bridge, Crosby brings to the table vital large scale event planning knowledge.
Our Team• Anne Bruce joined JMC Charleston in 2006 as Director
of Sales. Anne brings with her over fifteen years of experience in meeting planning in Atlanta and Washington, DC for large Destination Management Companies.
• Lauren Fox joined JMC Charleston in December 2008 as the Director of Operations. With a background in event décor and design, it has been an easy transition to the industry of event management.
• Randall Felkel coordinates the production of our printed materials in our sister business, The RSVP Shoppe, conveniently located in downtown Charleston.
• Our 45 registered contract workers offer the very best in on-sight hospitality desk staffing, transportation direction, floral design, and event production.
