THE PROCESS

Once upon a time people were homesick, daydreaming of places from their past and yearning for travel. One day JHill designed a series

of maps and prints that paired place-inspired patterns with clean typography. People were excited that these prints captured the spirit of

their place. They could now decorate their home with affordable, modern art that they had a personal connection with.

JHill researches places by reading blogs, watching documentaries and checking out the regional vernacular and cusines. She then starts sketching ideas for patterns, the final

drawn in illustrator. The pattern is then made into a City Print (just pattern and type) and a Map Print for the citys state or country.

The archival prints are designed and produced in JHills Boston-based studio.

We print with archival inks on a heavy, rag paper

Each print is protected in a clear, archival sleeve with backing board.

Each print includes a label explaining the prints text and the print/frame size.

We love custom sizes, just send us the qty and size requested.

We ship ground via UPS or USPS and are happy to use a shipping account number.
