Fukuoka – Situated For SuccessFukuoka Prefecture, located in the northern part of Kyushu, is ideally situated to reach out to Japan’s neighbours. It is the closest major city to South Korea and Shanghai, giving Fukuoka a distinct advantage over Japan's capital city, Tokyo.Fukuoka is also well connected to Japan’s other major cities. A 15-minute subway ride takes you from the heart of the city to the airport, while the Kyushu Shinkansen bullet train links Fukuoka with towns and cities in Kyushu and beyond.Other key benefits of life in Fukuoka are the comparatively low cost of living and high standards of education. Fukuoka International Airport has approximately 320 flights a week, connecting to 17 major cities in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, high-speed sea links make daily trips between Hakata Port, Fukuoka and Busan, South Korea, ideal for daily business trips. Cargo links include the Shanghai Super Express (SSE) rapid-through transit system, connecting the sea route from Shanghai to Hakata port where cargo is then sent domestically across Japan, and the international multimodal “Hakata Port Cross” transportation service. Hakata Port offers 30 regular international container routes with 162 monthly services. Such excellent transport links make Fukuoka an ideal business centre for foreign firms hoping to advance not only into Japan, but also into other Asian countries.

Up to 50 business days in principle. It is possible, however, to extend occupancy to 100 business days if your extension request is approved.

Terms of use

Occupancy should be based on our adhesive terms and conditions. You are asked to deposit ¥10,000 per week (or a basic rate of ¥50,000 for five weeks or more) in Japanese yen (cash only) at the time of moving-in to the IBSC Fukuoka. Balance will be returned to you after phone and fax bills, etc. are deducted when you vacate the room.

Qualifications for use

Regardless of nationality, foreign business individuals bringing business into Japan, or overseas public organisations without a base of activity in Japan, are qualified.
