  • Jesus was the seed of the first fruit – the kernel seed of wheat".

His death and resurrection brought forth an abundant harvest on

the day of Pentecost when the life, death and resurrection of

Christ was preached, over three thousand souls where born again,

    and since then, billions.

That Jesus, God took on humanity so that He could be the

mediator between God and man. Jesus was 100% God and 100%

percent man. Son of God / Son of Man

We saw how the kingdom of satan is coming to an end and the

Kingdom of Christ has been established now and forever, with

    Him being our High priest.

  • This is episode two of the study of the gospel of John Chap. 12.

Last week I said we would make the study of John chapter 12 a

two-part episode, but as the Lord has expounded the scriptures to

me to share with all of you, there is for us to grasp in the

remaining scriptures; so, were going to expand this series to 3-4

episode series, so we don’t lose or fail to get some understanding

the Lord would have us to have.

So, let’s recap the first episode of John 12. We first see where

Jesus, six days before the Passover, is at a dinner given in His

honor, and Lazarus, who He just raised from the dead is also at

the dinner party. Mary, who was considered a very sinful woman

by her community, comes in and pours perfume on Jesus,

proceeds to wash and wipe His feet with her hair.

Before we go on, theres something we should have addressed last

week, which is very important, and that is Mary being considered

a sinful woman. Now, this label given to Mary, as being “a sinful

or sinner” was most likely because she was either a prostitute or

a very promiscuous woman. Hold on, let me get to it. The reason

we need to cover this, is because it will help many of us who allow

our past sins to define us, guilt us and haunt us. Especially, you

women who may be holding on to some shame of your past.

Some of you may think, “this Mary is not the same woman spoken

of in Luke 7, and think these are two different women and two

different accounts a woman anointing Jesus with perfume and

wiping his feet with their hair. But it’s not, Luke’s account in

Luke 7:37-39 is just not in Chronological order, as he recounts

the ministry of Jesus. There is but one account fulfilled in all four

Gospels of a woman (Mary) washing and wiping Jesus fee with

  • her hair. If you are still uncertain, you can email me at

[email protected] and I will provide you with a exegetical showing

from scripture of this being one event.

In any event, when you look at the emphasis and label given to

this woman as a “sinner” or “sinful life”, it is not the same as

“being a sinner, we all sin or sinners”, which is the word

ἁμαρτάνω hamartanō; which means, to miss the mark. This

    word used to describe Mary is the word ἁμαρτωλός hamartōlos;

which means, devoted to sin, speaking specifically of a person

stained with certain definite vice or lifestyle. In speaking of Mary,

Luke 7:39 says, the Pharisee said to himself, “If this man were a

prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of

woman she is—that she is a sinner (ἁμαρτωλός hamartōlos).”

Meaning, she practiced a lifestyle, stained by a certain definitive

vice. Now, if we apply common reason, logic, we know that

Mary was probably not a thief, murder, swindler or some other

type of criminal, she would be either in jail or not willing or able

to show her face. But she was known throughout the community.

So, through process of elimination, and her being a woman, this

implies that her known infamy of sinfulness was that of being a

    prostitute or very promiscuous woman.

Listen to Jesus response of this sinful woman touching Him,

    Luke 7:40-

40Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”

    “Tell me, teacher,” he said.

41“Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One

owed him five hundred denarii, c and the other fifty. 42Neither of

  • them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of

both. Now which of them will love him more?”

43Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt

    forgiven.”

“You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.

44Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do

you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me

any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and

wiped them with her hair.45You did not give me a kiss, but this

woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my

feet. 46You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured

perfume on my feet. 47Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have

been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has

    been forgiven little loves little.”

48Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

49The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is

    this who even forgives sins?”

50Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in

    peace.”

Mary, this sinful woman, will always be connected with Jesus in

    History, Hallelujah!

So, for those of you who struggle with your past sinful live, no

matter what it was, please note to yourselves, Jesus forgives,

Jesus cleanses, Jesus redeems! Let know one tell you or make

you believe or feel differently Amen!

Now, back to the episode. Mary poured this expensive perfume

on Jesus feet and wiped them with her hair, and the portrayer,

Judas Iscariot, tempted the disciples to murmur against Jesus, by

  • saying this expensive perfume should have been sold and the

money used for the poor. But Jesus rebukes the disciples and tells

them to leave Mary alone, because the poor they would always

have with them, but they won’t always have Him, and what she

had done was meant and intended for His burial.

Then there was the large crowd that gather outside where Jesus

and His disciples were having dinner. Most of the crowd was their

out of curiosity, not just to see Jesus the miracle worker, but to

marvel at Lazarus, the man who was raised from the dead.

Then there was the Pharisees and chief priest who were not only

plotting to put Jesus to death, but they wanted to put Lazarus back

to death. Believing this some how would dispel the evidence, the

proof, that Jesus had power and authority over life itself. Rather

than accept this truth and believe, they chose to sabotage the truth

of God, in order to stop others from believing in Jesus.

The following day, we see Jesus on His way to Jerusalem riding

on a donkey, and there are crowds of people laying down palm

branches shouting “Hosanna, Blessed in the one who comes in the

name of the Lord.” Fulfilling the prophecy of Zech. 9:9 “Rejoice

greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:

behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having

salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal

    of an ass”.

We see here, the Pharisees confessing that the whole world is

going after Jesus and they want to somehow put a stop to it.

Fearing their loss of power and control over the people because

of Jesus’ new doctrine of God’s grace, mercy and lovekindness to

  • all, the forgiveness of sin and redemption by grace, they plot to

    put Him to death.

We then see the beginning of God’s overall plan being revealed

of His redeeming the world, not just Israel, to Himself. We see

the Greeks who came to the Passover and requested an audience

with Jesus were the forerunners of the Gospel being preached and

received outside of the cities of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, to the

spreading of Christianity throughout the rest of the world. And,

as we know, the New Testament was written primarily in the

    Greek tongue.

So, now let’s pickup where we left off. Remember, Jesus in His

reply to Phillip and Andrew telling Him that there are some

Greeks who wanted to speaks with Him, turned and said, John

    12:24-26

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground

and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces

many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while

anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal

life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my

servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

A kernel wheat, a seed, that could barely provide a meal for a bird.

But place it in the earth, where showers and sunshine may nourish

it, and it will grow into many stocks of wheat, and each stock of

wheat having many, many seeds of their own. All from one kernel

planted – which appears to die – "except it died" how could it

multiply itself? But, place it in suitable soil and it will spring up

  • thirty, sixty, hundred, etc. Being planted, it becomes the life for

new wheat in life giving in abundance.

Jesus was no martyr, as some would suppose. No, He was the

first fruit of us all. The first fruit of man containing the Spirit of

God within him, and as many that believes in Him, is also then

given a new spiritual life. 1 Cor. 15:20-23 But Christ has indeed

been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen

asleep. 21For since death came through a man, the resurrection

of the dead comes also through a man. 22For as in Adam all die,

so in Christ all will be made alive. 23But each in turn: Christ, the

firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

    And, 1 Cor. 15:45-49

    So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” f ;

the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46The spiritual did not come

first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47The first man

was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 48As

was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is

the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. 49And

just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall

we g bear the image of the heavenly man.

"Jesus was the seed of the first fruit – the kernel seed of wheat".

His death and resurrection brought forth an abundant harvest on

the day of Pentecost when the life, death and resurrection of

Christ was preached, over three thousand souls where born again,

    and since then, billions.

  • One corn of wheat was taken from the Father's bosom and put into

this sinful world. The Creator became a creature, and was

subjected to a creature's duties and obligations, fulfilled them, and

then ransomed Himself for the remission of sins for the world.

Next we see Jesus say in verses 25-26, “Anyone who loves their

life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will

keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and

where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one

    who serves me.

We all know what Jesus means by, anyone who loves their life

will lose it, but whoever loses their life for my sake shall gain life.

But, it’s worth mentioning again. When we accept Jesus as Lord

and Savior, we are to let go of live in and to the world. That is

not to say, we become hermits, or hide away; to the contrary,

Jesus prayed for us to live in the world but not live to it, John

17:14-17: 14 I have given them your word and the world has

hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of

the world. 15My prayer is not that you take them out of the world

but that you protect them from the evil one. 16They are not of the

world, even as I am not of it. 17Sanctify them by d the truth; your

    word is truth.

Our lives are to become renewed to a new way of living, thinking

and behaving, and that centered on God’s Word. When we keep

the self-same attitudes, and cares of this world and pride of life,

excessive attentiveness on the things of this world and our flesh,

it compromises our faith and opposes the spiritual things of God.

Jesus tells us, pride of this life and cares of this world only choke

the Word of God in us.

  • You can’t be a follow of Jesus and still want to live to your self-

same life and cares of this world. Following the Lord requires

seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and not

remaining the way you lived in the world before you got saved.

We must follow Jesus, take His yoke upon us and transform our

lives to God’s will for our lives.

Many people want to be a Christian and still think and live the

same way they were before being saved, and the two don’t and

won’t mix. You have to lose one to gain the other, there is no

    compromise with God.

John 12:27-34 “Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say?

‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason

I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice

came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

    29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered;

others said an angel had spoken to him. 30 Jesus said, “This voice

was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment

on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to

myself.” 33 He said this to show the kind of death he was going

to die. 34 The crowd spoke up, “We have heard from the Law that

the Messiah will remain forever, so how can you say, ‘The Son of

Man must be lifted up’? Who is this ‘Son of Man’?”

This is a very interesting and telling passage. Don’t miss this!

Jesus was expressing His woes, His sense of feelings of sorrow,

sadness and yes, His pains of the approaching horrors of what He

must endure in His human nature. Let’s contrast this with “The

  • crowd spoke up, “We have heard from the Law that the Messiah

will remain forever, so how can you say, ‘The Son of Man must

be lifted up’? Who is this ‘Son of Man’?”

These questions are the very heart of the Gospel.

What they were saying is, we have heard out of the law, or been

taught by those, out of the Old Testament that the Christ, the

Messiah is to abide, remain, live forever and not die. That He

would reign as a prince forever over the Hebrew people here on

earth. This not so is not quite a complete mis-understanding of

prophecy they were taught from the prophecies in Psalm 110:4:

The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a

priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Isa. 9:7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no

end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,

establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from

that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will

    accomplish this.

Dan. 2:44 In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom

that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people.

It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it

    will itself endure forever.

    And,

  • Dan. 7:13-14 In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a

son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the

Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given

authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of

every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting

dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will

    never be destroyed.

They knew Ps. 110:4, Isa. 9:7, Dan. 2:44 and 7:13-14 referred

to the prophecy of the Christ, the Messiah; So, they questioned,

"If you are to die, how can you be the Messiah?” We have been

taught the Messiah, the Christ, would never die and would forever

rule over Israel. So, who is this Son of Man?"

They could not reconcile that fact He would reign for ever with

the idea of His death. They did not understand His reign was not

/ is not here in the temporal, an earthly kingdom – they had no

understanding of the spiritual. They only had the letter, not the

spirit. They did not understand that Jesus would die to His human

nature or body, and rise glorified to set at the right hand of the

father in a glorified united nature, bring a new dispensation of

spiritual awakening for those who wanted to follow Him and

fellowship with God. The Old Testament was veiled, it was of the

letter and not of the spirit. They were unable to reconcile the

prophecies of those just mentioned with the prophecy of the

Messiah with the prophecy of the Messiah given in Isa. 53:1-12:

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the

Lord been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,

and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to

  • attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire

him. 3 He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of

suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide

their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. 4

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we

considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for

our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him,

and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone

astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has

laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and

afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to

the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he

did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment he was

taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut

off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people

he was punished. 9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and

with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor

was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush

him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life

an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days,

and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. 11 After he has

suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his

knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will

bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among

the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because

he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the

transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made

    intercession for the transgressors.

  • This prophecy of the Messiah had been overlooked because they

had not received the spirit into the world; therefore, they never

really truly understood God’s plan of redemption.

We can see their understanding of Jesus fullfilment of Isa. 53, in

Acts 8:26-40, Philip and the Ethiopian, we can see how they now

understood that Jesus had Notice the passage the Ethiopian was

    reading, Act 8:32-33:

This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading:

“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before

its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 33 In his

humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his

descendants? For his life was taken from the earth.” - Isa. 53,

Look at what the Ethiopian said, and Philips’ response

34 The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet

talking about, himself or someone else?” 35 Then Philip began

with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news

    about Jesus.

How Jesus was the Messiah, and was put to death for the

remission of sins and raised on the third day, ascended back unto

the Father, where He now reigns forever.

Before His death and resurrection, they did not understand the

title of Christ being "the Son of man" and the Son of God. Jesus

Christ, though God, was also very much fully human. He was

God incarnate. As a man, He felt joy as a man, He felt sorrow as

a man, He felt love as a man. He felt pain as a man, He felt

  • rejoicing as a man. He felt troubled as a man, He was tempted in

every was as being fully human, and understands us, our struggles

in the flesh. They failed to understand that the Messiah would not

just be another prophet sent by God, but God Himself taking on

Humanity. Even Moses foretold of Jesus in Deut. 18:15-22, but

they did not understand that Jesus was the expressed image of

God Himself, it tells us in Heb. 1:1-2. They only thought in terms

of the flesh, the natural. They did not get it. Look at Matt. 22:41-

    45

    hose Son Is the Messiah?

41While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked

them, 42“What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is

    he?”

“The son of David,” they replied.

43He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the

Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, 44“ ‘The Lord said to my

Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your

feet.” 45 If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?”

We now see the fulfilling of the prophecy in Psalms 110:4, Jesus

being a Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek

Jesus being fully God and Man, became the only true mediator

between man and God, being both man and God – 1 Tim 2:5:

For there is one God and one mediator between God and

mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom

for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

  • The name and title Son of Man declares the reality God’s

incarnation and full humanity, bone of our bone, flesh of our

flesh, having experienced all our joys, sorrows, goodness and

pains. So, as it says in Heb. 4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a

great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of

God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not

have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our

weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way,

just as we are —yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s

throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy

and find grace to help us in our time of need.

So for those of you who think or believe God doesn’t understand

your issues, problems, circumstances or troubles, your deceived.

Jesus Christ, full man and full God, He understands. That’s why

He, Jesus, placed emphasis on His own humanity, taking upon

Himself the weight and weariness of man and man’s sins. He

alone is the medium of all blessing to mankind, mediator between

God and man. They failed to understand this, and asked, “Who is

this Son of Man” but God incarnate! Amen!

Now, in between Jesus expressing His sorrows and human

feelings, and their wandering Who is this Son of Man, they heard

the voice of the Father speak from Heaven, verse 28-30

Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will

glorify it again.” 29 The crowd that was there and heard it said

it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him. 30

Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine.

  • God the Father had affirmed Jesus Ministry, His Purpose and His

Deity, that there would be no mistaking that Jesus was the

Messiah. He had honored and glorified Him, by the Words of God

He had given to man; proclaiming His mercy and grace, and by

the power and authority displayed in Jesus miracles. He truly is

the appointed Messiah, there is none else. It was for their and our

sake, as indisputable and undeniable proof that Jesus is the

Messiah, in whom all men are to be saved.

After the crowd was affirmed of Jesus Messiahship, Jesus tells

    them verses 31-32:

Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this

world will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up from the

earth, will draw all people to myself.”

The judgment of this world is had in and through Jesus. We all

have heard John 3:16, I’m sure many, many times. It’s a

scripture that is popular and has been widely published, and

spread throughout the world. We all heard it even before coming

to Christ. Now, let’s understand it, it’s the judgment on this world

    Christ speaks about.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten

Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but

    have everlasting life.

Now that is the judgment, it further goes on to say:

    17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that

  • believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is

condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of

the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation,

that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather

than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that

doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his

    deeds should be reproved.

John 11:25-26 Jesus says, I am the resurrection, and the life: he

that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

    Believest thou this?

There is no other judgment people! He that doesn’t believe is

    condemned already! Judgment is had!

Now the prince of this world, He says, will be driven out.

The prince of this world - Satan, or the devil, John 14:30; John

    16:11. He is also called the god of this world, 2 Corinthians 4:4;

"The rulers of the darkness of this world" Eph. 6:12; "the prince

of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children

    of disobedience," Eph 2:2.

All these names are given satan, the devil, because of his

influencing power which he has over people of this world,

blinding us, controlling and subject us to his will through means

    of deception, lies and manipulation.

The power of satan over the world resides in lies, deceit and

manipulation. Jesus, who is the Word, brought the truth of God

  • to man so that man would no longer live in the darkness of

ignorance, being deceived with lies and manipulation of the devil.

Jesus would let man know the truth of a loving God, a merciful

God, who desires man to fellowship and worship Him in truth.

He would let man know of their sins, selfishness and prides, and

that God is a Holy and Righteous God. A God that desires man

to put away sinful ways, selfishness and prides, to follow God’s

laws of righteousness and holiness with their heart.

Jesus said, “to know the truth and the truth will set you free”.

When you are deceived, you live to that lie. When you are

manipulated, you respond to that stimuli. When you gain the

truth, your able to see clearer and make another judgment,

respond another way. The truth brings illumination of choice to

    change course.

Not only did Jesus bring us the truth, but He also brought the

Spirit of God to the world. The Spirit of God not only exposes

satan’s lies, manipulation and deceit on a spiritual level, but helps

us with our “infirmities” to brake the power of satan over our

minds and soul. The word “infirmities” ἀσθένεια, ας, ἡ astheneia

(as-then'-i-ah) weakness, frailty, want of strength, weakness,

    illness, suffering, calamity, frailty.

In tells us in Matt. 8:16-17,

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were

possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word,

and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which

was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our

    infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

  • Rom. 8: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for

we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit

itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be

uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the

mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints

according to the will of God.

As you see, “infirmities” are our weakness in the flesh, not just

sickness, but weaknesses, and those weaknesses could be vices,

habits, weakness of mind, feelings, emotions, strongholds, and

such a like. And, as we stated earlier, as our High priest, Jesus

not only understands but empathizes with our weakness – Heb.

4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has

ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to

the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is

unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who

has been tempted in every way, just as we are —yet he did not

sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with

confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help

us in our time of need.

Jesus spoke to breaking of the the power of influence satan has

over man through deceit, lies and manipulation. This is why Jesus

said, I Am the Truth, The Way and The Life, and that true worship

of God would be in Spirit and In Truth, and to know the truth and

the truth shall set you free – free from the prince of this world. In

every sin, there is a lie, manipulation and deceit of the devil

    behind it.

In John 12:34, Jesus is speaking of the decisive scene, the

eventful period – when He would break down the power of satan’s

  • hold over people and translate them to the Kingdom of God.

Listen to what Jesus commissioned Paul to do, Acts 26:15-18

“Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’

“ ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord

replied. 16‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared

to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you

have seen and will see of me. 17I will rescue you from your own

people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18to open

their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the

power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of

sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Jesus ransomed His live to establish His authority over the law

and the government of God here on earth – His Church. Having

mastered sin in the flesh, Jesus showed His absolute regard for

God’s laws; and presented to man the strongest motives of the

Love of God to induce man to leave the service of satan; and

securing the help and influences of Holy Spirit

John 16:7-11 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away.

Unless I go away, the Advocate (comforter / Holy Spirit) will not

come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes,

he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and

righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not

believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the

Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment,

because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

  • Satan’s rule, his kingdom has been broken, and his empire is

coming to an end, it has not yet completely ceased, but his rule

has declined and the rise of the Kingdom of God has grown. But

there is an expected time appointed, were he will be vanquished,

and thrown into the bottomless pit.

I hope you have been blessed with understanding and

enlightenment, and may your spirit leap for your of being feed.
