Nagano - Toulouse (Aerospace)

The Iida Aerospace Project (Nagano, METI Industrial Cluster) requested the Centre to find European aerospace clusters for possible cooperation. The Centre provided basic information and arranged a meeting with the Aerospace Valley (Toulouse).

Dec. 2008

Wielkopolska - Kansai (IT)

The Polish region of Wielkopolska wished to find Japanese ICT clusters to participate in the World Innovation Days for discussion and meetings with their local ICT clusters. The Centre arranged a mission of a cluster manager from Kansai Neo Cluster.

June 2009

Sapporo - France (Food/Bio)Sapporo Bio Cluster requested assistance for finding French and Italian food clusters as potential partner for R&D activities. The Centre discussed with the French embassy to arrange meeting opportunities for them with 3 French food clusters.

Nov. 2009

Baltic Sea Region - Japan (METI)

A conference on innovation in the Baltic Sea Region requested the Centre to send Japanese experts on cluster internationalisation and Japanese policies. We supported the organization of a mission of a METI' cluster policy analyst for this conference, including meetings with the European Cluster Alliance and DG ENTR.

EC (ECPG) - Japan

The Centre provided support for the organisation of the Japan study visit by the European Cluster Policy Group.

Jul-Oct. 2009

EC (REGIO) - Japan (METI)

The Centre provided support (e.g. identify speakers, promotion) to METI and DGREGIO to organise and EU-Japan seminar focus on cluster cooperation during the European Week of Regions.
