Three-Year Academic Plan SY 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020By the end of three years (2020), Jefferson Elementary School will embed STEM in all content areas in order to provide a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to teaching students using 21st century learning and problem-solving practices.

21st Century Learning – Science, Technology, Education and Math (STEM) remains a cop priority for the Kaimuki-McKinley, and Roosevelt Complex. STEM provides our students with the ability to utilize the Engineering Design Process to build a prototype, test the prototype, gather data, and redesign the prototype, based on the data that was collected.

To prepare students to be college and career ready.
