OBJECTIVES

• Build up 3200 farmers as skilled by sharing experience on SRI by training, exposure & cross visits

• Increase economic status of farmers by enhancing production from small patches of land by adopting SRI

Convergence with ATMA

• 1035 farmers in 1000 acres covered in Deogarh & Angul District

• Farmers capacity building training organized 2500 farmers trained on SRI

• 300 weeders & 50 markers provided to farmers

• 15 quintals of bio fertilizer provided to farmers & support provided to use chemical fertilizer

• 42.80 quintals of dhanicha seeds provided for green manuring

• 27 seeds banks formed• 4 pump sets provided to

Block level farmers federation formed• 4 farmers club got seed support

&training from block agrl dept. for mustard & green gram ,crop in Rabi for 160 acres

• 1farmers club got contract from agrl. Department for organising training on watermelon cultivation

• 6 farmers club have created their group fund & decided to purchase power weeder

• 1 farmers club mobilized NFSM rice scheme through which they purchased transplanter with subsidize rate
