Join us as we explore one of the most picturesque islands in the Society chain. We’ll be whisked away by boat to a private beach for snorkelling and a walk. Bring: sunscreen, mask, snorkel, fins, towel, and water.

DAY 3: BORA BORA – DAY 1

An exciting adventure to the reefs of Bora Bora to safely swim among rays and snorkel beautiful reefs. Bring: mask, fins & snorkel, towel, sunscreen, reef shoes necessary, water

Get a behind the scenes tour of how the ship runs. You’ll even get to sit in the Captain’s chair!

Learn about marine animals that have always interested you and check out coral under a microscope

DAY 5: RANGIROA

DAY 6: FAKARAVA

1:15 pm CORAL ATOLL ISLAND EXPLORATION 2½ Hours Fakarava Pier

Compare the crashing waves of the open ocean to the calm lagoon as we learn about atolls in this casual stroll to some interesting sites on the island and we will top it all off with a snorkel and swim! Bring: snorkel gear, water, hat & sunglasses

4:30 pm FAKARAVA DANCERS 45 Minutes Pool Deck, Deck 8

Locals will join us aboard the ship to show us the traditional Tuamotu’s dance style

DAY 7: AT SEA

10:00 am FISH & TURTLE DISCOVERY 1 Hour Bar du Soleil, Deck 9

Learn the tricks on how to identify different fish species and the turtles found on coral reefs

You’ll discover things about the ship and its crew that you never knew as you explore the ship in a race against the clock

Tattoos are still today an important part of Tahitian culture. Learn tattoo style and paint one on yourself using special body paint. After we will jump in the pool to rinse for relay races and games

Join your Cousteau Naturalists for what is sure to be a beautiful sunset

DAY 9: MOOREA – DAY 1

8:15 am TRAILS OF THE ANCIENTS 4 Hours Grand Salon, Deck 5

We’ll hike through Moorea’s tropical rainforest with archaeologist Mark Eddowes as he describes being in ancient Polynesia where warfare was a way of life and human sacrifices to the gods were important rituals. A stop for homemade ice cream may be possible on the way Bring: US$7 for ice cream, mosquito repellant, comfortable shoes and water

8:30 pm STARGAZING 30 Minutes Bar du Soleil, Deck 9

We will look into space to see the rings of Saturn as well as exploded stars and distant galaxies. Weather Permitting
