JD POLYTECHNIC, NAGPUR CONDUCTED INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT MOHPA SUBSTATION

J D POLYTECHNIC organised an industrial visit at 33KV/11KV SUBSTATION Mohpa,Nagpur for Electrical students. Around 45 students visited the substation. The coordinators of the visit were Prof. Pranay Gndage, Prof. Toufique Baig and Prof. Rafat Jabeen. Students studied about substation, substation equipments like transformer, C.T, P.T, Isolator, etc. under the guidance of Mr. Lambat (Assistant Engineer) & Mr.Bendale (Assistant Engineer).

The visit was carried successfully under the observation of Prof. Sudhir Gore HOD of Electrical Department, Prof. Y S Awachar, Principal, J D polytechnic. Shri. Sanjay Agrawal Chairman Jaidev Education Society (JES), Shri. Ajay Agrawal Secretary JES, Prof. P. B. Maheshwary, Prof. S. M. Bang, Prof. N. H. Patil, Directors JES and executive director Mr. Avinash Dorsatwar, appreciated the efforts taken by the department. This visit helped the students to explore the practical knowledge of the subject (switchgear & protection & professional practices).
