The game Room is a staff supervised area for youth to hang out, play and socialize while their parents are utilizing the Fitness Center or attending a meeting or class. The room is filled with fun and engaging activities including: foosball, table tennis, air hockey, billiards (pool), board games, coloring and small crafts. The staff greets and interacts with participants, and they supervise any child leaving the room to use the restroom or water fountain. Participants may bring their own electronics with them (except on Saturdays) but we do ask that any and all games are non-violent in nature. JCC Rockland is not responsible for lost, broken or stolen personal property.

The game Room will not be open on any days that JCC Rockland hosts school breaks, early release or snow/emergency day programming and when JCC Rockland is closed for holiday observances or weather related instances.

USAGE RULES: • Children MUST be in Kindergarten (ages 5 and up)• Parent/Guardian MUST sign child in and out from program space• $5 per visit for guests (payment to be made at reception desk)• Maximum visit time is 2 hours• Children under Kindergarten (under 5) will not be accepted and should be brought to the babysitting room located on the first floor (fees apply)

Purim Character PaloozasuNDaY, mar 1, 11am-1pmFor children up to 10 yearsShow us your best Purim costume, take part in our dance off parade, meet and take photos with some of your favorite characters, enjoy crafts, game booths, bounce house, brunch and so much more. Rumor has it some of the special visitors may include some of the cast from Frozen, maybe a ninja turtle  or another super hero, some Saturday morning pre-school cartoon friends and a few more. We will have music spinning, fun and prizes and face painting. This is sure to be a crowd pleasing event! We offer bus service from link, New City, Valley Cottage, lincoln Ave, Evans Park, Franklin Ave & Pearl River Middle School. Early release days run from dismissal time until 6:30pm at JCC Rockland. lunch and activities are included in the daily fees.MEMBER $35 PuBliC $55

Beyond the Bell participants please see your Site Leader directly for sign up and fee details. Registration for all half day/early release programs MUST be completed a minimum of three business days prior to the program date.

Snow & Emergency Closure DaysJCC Rockland will offer programming on days the schools close due to weather or an emergency when possible. The hours of the program will be based on operations of the JCC building and facility. Fees will be based on the hours of coverage provided that day but will not exceed the regular Vacation Sensation daily rates. These programs will be available on a first come first served basis and limited spots will be offered. Develop leadership skills, learn how to work with children and interact with other high school students through workshops and interaction in a camp group. CiT participants receive priority placement for counselor positions.
