Miles Dewey Davis was born, May 26, 1926 in Alton and died
September 28, 1991in Santa Monica. Miles was an American Jazz
musician trumpeter, bandleader and composer , wildly considered
one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Miles
was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2006, even
though he's dead the memory of his beautiful music lives on. Miles
attended the Julliard school of music… Miles Davis was very
successful in his music career. In 1975 he retired due hip
problems and a very bad drug addition. He retuned in 1980.
