T he right to express is the greatest gift given to mankind. And more so, the very fact of being heard is

indeed laudable. The ring of the telephone, the vibration of the cell phone, the buzz of the bee convey a

message – to respond, recognise, appreciate and admire with due reverence to that celluloid compartment in the

human body which we know as THE BRAIN. We are living in an age of technology where science has shown its

prowess. KNOWLEDGE – overflooding the intellectual mind, creating a fusion of sorts and, above all, being a

prized companion to the human being – is a part of the game. When I look at it minutely, I am delighted to see

the hard and the soft factors of the computer which is so distinctly suffixed by the ‘ware’, that is creates an inhouse

effect to respond to just a tiny little click from the mouse. The human body at the same time fuctions to the beat of

the heart and responds cheerfully of vice-versa to a stimulus. And giving this ‘area of science’ a glorious image in

my own small way is the major role that I play as a co-founder.

The high costs of educational courses, combined with the cost relative factors in miscellaneous fields, made it

difficult for students of medicine to purchase books. This strain was immediately noticed by Jaypee, and the need

to create value was felt. Books were designed to be readily available at affordable prices. Books were customised

to meet the curriculum and affordability, keeping in mind the tropicality of medicine. Indian authors were

a messagetaken by surprise as their books became globe-trotters. The books saw a multidimensional approach as these were

not restricted to the rudimentaries of Medicine alone. The books of Jaypee, as one finds, have a happy mingling

of experience and expertise which contribute to the process of Education. The fountain of happiness springs in

the books of Jaypee since the books have been taken as harbingers of trends in medical advances in contemporary

times. Currently we at Jaypee act as a pilot team which orbits of different missions at various levels. It has plans

of taking off at jet setting speed in order to make this knowledge spontaneously available to one and all. I have

always felt that the microcosm of life needs a nucleus and that, it is this nuelei of medical generation which will

steer Jaypee ahead of time, space and vision.
