Our 57th Annual Pancake Day will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 8am til noon in the Great Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Arlington. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door, or in advance by contact-ing the Kiwanis District office at (817)640-7711 or by email at [email protected].

A popular feature is the Silent Auction, which raises funds by putting hundreds of items up for bid. Anyone with new or pre-owned items in great condition who would like to donate them, please contact the District office.

Pancake Day is Coming!

Ring Those Bells!This past Christmas, our members and Key Clubs rang the Salvation Army bell at Walmart (AT&T Stadium) and Kroger (Cooper and Green Oaks). The total raised by our kettles was $1,474.10. Special thanks to all who par-ticipated:

Bringing Up GradesOn January 20, 3rd - 5th Graders at South Davis Elementary received awards for im-proved grades in at least one subject.

Those making the A/B Honor Roll received an additional award, a certificate signed by the school’s principal. These Honor Roll students also are eligible for a drawing, with a new bicycle going to one student in each of the three grades.

The winners were Andrea Sanchez (3rd Grade, Ms. Willeke), Evan Ruiz (3rd Grade, Ms. Willeke), Jewel Shank (4th Grade, Mrs. Torres), Erik Zubia (4th Grade, Ms. Fuller), Jatsiri Viveros (5th Grade, Mrs. Morris), and Angel Munoz (5th Grade, Mrs. Horn).
