REFLECCIÓN DEL ASTOR
EPIFANÍA DEL SEÑOR
Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Fr. Adrián Vázquez
ATHER’S EFLECTION
THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD
Dear brothers and sisters, Happy New Year!
I wish with all my heart that this new year brings you much peace, joy and well being!
After having celebrated the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and with it entering Christmas time, our hearts were filled with joy, peace and much hope to receive the challenges of the present year. I ask our Lord Jesus Christ that, as a community of faith, we will be more united, more dedicated and with new strength to continue the work of evangelization in this year that begins.
With the deep desire to follow the mission of Jesus Christ in our parish, I urge you to work more united, more dedicated and with a renewal in the goals, in the organization of the ministries, and an active participation.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to integrate new brothers and sisters who wish to serve in the different ministries we have. Very soon I will give you the date to meet and present the work plan that I want to implement. I hope everyone will support me and that the new members feel well come and supported by others.

ATRIUM PRAYER
When we come to visit Jesus in this Atrium , we work quietly, and we listen, so that we can hear the Good
Shepherd’s voice in our hearts. We give him our love, and we mysteries of Jesus’ life, He teaches us without words in the
stillness of this room. Please bless our time together, Jesus.
We are excited to offer this beautiful teaching to our 3-6 year olds: Catechesis of the Good Shepherd-Level 1! Classes will begin on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in English with a small group, with hopes of expanding as more
teachers are trained. Classes will be held on the first three Sundays of each month from 10:30 am (after 9:30 am Mass) to noon. The CGS philosophy is that God and the child have a unique relationship with one another, and that the growth of this relationship is assisted by the adult but is directed by the Spirit of God within the child. All of this
takes place in the Atrium. A typical day in the Atrium includes:
A presentation on grace and courtesy, practical life,
Scripture, or Liturgy.
A significant period of time for children to work with
materials of their own choice.
A gathering time of worship at the prayer table.
If you have a child age 3-6 and are interested, please contact
Colleen Crozier at 208-324-4257 or Janet Lothspeich at 208-320-6146
