I can say that my faith

n humanity was restoredwhen I met Ms. Blue andhe people at PACC, saysZareta Ricks, the coura-geous mom who kept heramily together throughouthis nightmare. When yousee all your possessionsdestroyed and doors arebeing closed in your face, tond a place like PACC, its such a relief.

The Ricks had a difcult time obtaining subsidies but PACCeld the apartment for them throughout the stressful process.

Says Ricks, They have been so patient, kind and under-tanding and our apartment is everything I ever dreamed ofits bigger than our old place and its truly an answer to myrayers.

PACC has developed more than 800 units of quality, afford-ble housing throughout Central Brooklyn. Its property man-gement team manages more than 607 as rental units; oth-rs, such as the new green Gates Avenue Co-ops, are soldt affordable prices to low- and moderate-income families,

meeting community needs in a housing market where hom-ownership might otherwise beyond their means.

The preceding were two wonderful testaments to the kind ofne-on-one work our membership organizations commit to

amilies and communities in New York City.

f your organization has a story that youd like to share, pleaseead the notice to the right. Wed love to read and share it.
