Another year begins as yourmembership ehair and I am goingthrough the annual winter withdrawal from seat time in my P car.But just because the weather is notconducive to driving my PorscheI am still busy thinking of ways toget more members involved in clubactivities. Looking back on 2004RTR had another banner year withmanydifferenttypesofevents to participate in and many new facesjoining the veterans. I was fortunate tobe able to participate in many of theregions events and to meet many ofthe 199 Porsche owners who joinedthe region in 2004. The preliminaiyschedule for 2005 looks even betterthen last year and I wish to invite all199 of you to pick at least one event

to get involvedin and enjoythe benefits ofmembership.

I am going to continue hosting the successful new membersbreakfast program again this yearand with the help of the track program will add a great incentive toencourage new members to join usfor breakfast. This year will feature4 of these breakfast events.

At each breakfast a guaranteed slot in the green group at thenext Drivers Education event the

region is holding will be awarded toa new member attending the breakfast.

The award is a guaranteedslot. The cost of the event is the

responsibility' of the winner. Thedefinition of a new member for this

drawing will be a member who hasjoined the club within the 12 monthspreceding the breakfastand hasnever participated in a Drivers Education Event. Please bring your membership number with you to provideproofofwhen youjoined the club.

The first breakfast will be

held on Sunday March 20th at BobEvans in Exton, PA. 303 NorthPottstown Pike, Exton, PA. (Rt.icq). The drawing will be for theSpring Pocono Event Scheduledfor May 21 & 22,2005.
