Project challenges: The kitchen had a couple of updated features mixed in with theoriginal cabinets from the 70’s, and were painted white. The walls were painted neutral tan color. The combination of the "old" and "new" did not speak the same language, therefore lacking continuity of the overall design aesthetic and functionality.
Solution:Solution:To reduce cost, we’ve kept the existing appliances, granite countertop,and flooring. Introduce a warm, appetizing color palette more suitable fora kitchen. The use of orange paint, mixed glass & natural stone tiles helpaccentuate the existing granite and flooring.
Solution:Black display cubes inserted between structural wall studs togive the space sense of openness and a modern flare.
Extra counter workspace. Better usage of storage cabinets.
