Childcare staff are considered asFrontline Essential Worker GroupPriority #3. This group is part of theCOVID-19 Vaccination Plan – Phase 1B.Currently, Phase 1B is eligible forvaccination. Infant Toddler FamilyDay Care recommends that ALLproviders and staff members receivethe COVID-19 vaccine.
Due to vaccine shortages in NorthernVirginia, we are monitoring the variouslocal health departments in the regionas registration for child care providersbegins. Please visit the COVID-19Information & Resource page on ourwebsite for the latest registration linksand contact numbers for FairfaxCounty, Arlington County, AlexandriaCity, Loudoun County, and PrinceWilliam County.
Do you need help with rent or mortgagepayments? The Virginia Rent andMortgage Relief Program (RMRP) isdesigned to support and ensure housingstability across the commonwealth duringthe coronavirus pandemic. Depending onavailability of funds and household need,the RMRP may provide financialassistance for rent or mortgagepayments for eligible households. Thisincludes financial assistance for rent ormortgage payments past due beginningApril 1, 2020 and onward. Visithttps://dhcd.virginia.gov/rmrp for moreinformation and details.
