Your Answer

MalWare or Malicious Software is a software that is programmed to damage the computer system, in order to gain access to the computer, or steal or exploit important information. Examples of MalWare: Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses, SpyWare, AdWare etc. Some of these types of MalWare can attach themselves onto files or websites, in order to reach the user's computer. Some of them can multiply themselves, in order to reach the computer system as well. Also SpyWare can steal information about the user without them knowing.

The school can protect their computersfrom MalWare by blocking inappropriate websites because viruses and worms may attach themselves onto them to damage a computer. Also make sure that the students don't open any emails or messages they are unsure of because they might release a type of MalWare (e.g. AdWare ) that can mess up the computer system and make the computers slow down and eventually you might have to pay for more computers, which can be quite expensive.
