ZOE’S ZAPPIN NEW’S

Welcome back to Zoe’s Zappin News. This term I have

an assistant, Abbie Dunn.

In English the grade 4-5s have been looking at

traditional stories with Mrs Boon while the Grade 6s

have been looking at short stories on sustainability with

Mrs O and are going to make their own short stories for

themselves.

Here is a riddle: there are 10

fish in a tank, 2 drown, 4

swim away and 3 die how

many fish are left?

Answer: 10 because none of

them have been taken out of the

tank.

This term in The Arts the students have been preparing

for the school play “Alice in Wonderland”.

In Science this term the 5-6s have been learning about

the solar system and space while the 3-4s have been

learning about rocks, erosion and how earth quakes

happen.

Why did the Groom cross the road?

Answer: To get to the other Bride!

In Japanese this week the students have been learning

about Japanese houses and how they are made. They

have also been learning about the Japanese language and

how to say their favourite colour.
