HUMAN & PHYSICAL FEATURES

Jamaica and the United States of America have very different human and physical features because they are different countries. For example, did you know that in 2005, the Unites States had a population of 299,846,000 and Jamaica only had a population of 2,682,000. Aside from that, the life expectancy for the countries (United States of America and Jamaica) are not that much different. For instance, Jamaica’s life expectancy is 72.6% and the United States has a life expectancy of 78.2% in 2005-2010. In any event, Jamaica's square miles of 4,244 is much smaller than the United States vast 3,794,083 square miles. In conclusion, Jamaica and the United States are very different countries when it comes to human & physical features.

FLAGGenerally, most countries have a shape on their flag that represents something about their country. For example, Jamaica has black triangles on their flag that represents the adversity Jamaica has overcome and for hardships it may have in the future. Likewise, most countries have a flag history. Jamaica’s flag was adopted on August 6th, 1962. Jamaica also was gaining independence after they adopted their flag. In conclusion, Jamaica’s flag is rich in history and culture.

GOVERNMENTJamaica’s government type is constitutional parliamentary democracy and a commonwealth realm. Jamaica gained independence on August 6th, 1962 (from the UK). Jamaica’s national holiday is independence Day, August 6th (1962). The suffrage age in Jamaica is 18 years of age. Jamaica’s national anthem’s name is “Jamaica, Land We Love,” and it was adopted in 1962.

RELIGION

For the most part, all countries have some sort of religion rather than none. As an example, Protestant covers 64.8% of Jamaica’s religion. In essence, Jamaica has 21.3% of people that don’t practice religion, and the rest are different religions. Aside from that, Jamaica has 6.5% of its people that practice Jehovah's Witness. By the same token, Jamaica’s has Rastafarian taking up only 1.1% of Jamaica’s entire religion chart. In conclusion, Jamaica, and most other countries, have more than just one religion.

ANIMALS, PLANTS, & NATURAL RECOURSES

Like other countries, Jamaica has animals, agricultures, and natural resources. To begin with, the Jamaican Iguana is the most popular animal residence in Jamaica. The Jamaican Iguana was believed to have become extinct, but they have been rediscovered recently. Comparatively, Jamaica also has a large amount of sugarcane. Jamaica’s sugarcane plantations are one of the main crops of Jamaica. Above all, Jamaica’s limestone is the most important natural resource. The reason being, Jamaica has limestone plateau’s that cover two-thirds of Jamaica. Jamaica contains animals, agriculture, and natural recourses that are important just like all of the other countries have.

faculties for the landing, takeoff, shelter, supply, and repairs of an aircraft-There are 28 airports in Jamaica.

• Area-Field-Any particular extent of space or surface-Jamaica has an area of 10,991sq km.

• Capital-Central-The city or town that is the official seat of government in a country-Jamaica’s capital name is Kingston.

• Climate-Temperature-A region or area characterized by a given climate-Jamaica’s climate is tropical and humid.

• Coastline-Shoreline-The outline or contour of a coast-Jamaica’s coastline is 1,022km.
