Heritage Horticulture Workshop: Sowing Seeds
12 April 2014 – 11 evaluation forms from 12 participants
Participants appreciated “developing skills and knowledge in sowing techniques”, “practical seed planting”, “facilitator’s attention to details”, “science of composting, propagation and demonstrations of planting”, “increased knowledge about Alisa Craig tomatoes”, “local market garden history”, “more understanding of why I might fail”. Areas for improvement were “signposting for the site” and “sending details by email before the event”. “Examples of tools”, “info about market gardeners”, “old references of produce, layout of market gardens old sites”.
