in the possible event of one being separated from the rest of a group while hiking, the need for a rescue signal can mean the difference between life and death.

with a click of a button, the emergency signal emitter produces a loud, high-pitch tone that can be heard up to 300 feet away.

lightweight, portable, and water-resistant, the device features a crank-charge system that allows for virtually unlimited use in any location.

problemfind a way for users to grate cheese that is faster, simpler, cleaner, and more effective than current graters.

design opportunityto create a table-top cheese grater that reduces the amount of steps, energy, and time put into preparing grated cheese of any variety.

snug fit guitar strap spring 2011

problemthe strap must make the act of playing

guitar less physically stressful on the

neck, shoulders, and back by reducing

rigidity and muscular pain by displacing

pressure throughout the upper body

design opportunitycreate an ergonomic guitar support

device that will be more comfortable

for players to use, especially for those

who are prone to musculoskeletal pain
