• Dear Diary, Today has been the first day of activities in

The welcome festivity was extremelyinteresting, because the students from the 5 countriesinvolved in the Project prepared a short introductionof themselves in English, then showed the mostbeautiful images and videos from their countries, said afew words about their schools and sang their nationalanthems. In addition to this, the Romanian teampresented some Romanian traditional dances and it wasa special moment for me, because I sang two songs inEnglish: “This is a man’s world” and “Rise like a Phoenix”and I played “Love story” on the piano. The Romanianteam was congratulated on their presentation. Then, wewere divided into teams and my team attended the

Workshop at MCC Hostel: The Programming Language

for Robot Nao

The Humanoid Robot NaoToday I have met the spectacular Nao, a programmed

robot, which uses a processor and video cameras thatpermit him to recognize faces and objects much faster. Ifound out that it is equipped with a remote sensor, infraredreceivers and transmitters, tactile and pressure sensors. Ialso learned that Nao has microphones and a voicerecognition program that makes it easier to identify yourkeywords. I myself asked it a few questions, to which heanswered in a little shy way, at the beginning, We taught itto make some moves and sing "Happy Birthday!" in thelanguage of each country represented in the project. It wasa funny moment when I saw him dancing or doing karate!

In the end we were happy to have the missionaccomplished.

- The Chemistry Lab–> developing algorithmic thinkingthrough chemical experiments: we learned to makeicecream and soap. It was an extremely pleasant, relaxingand funny activity. I can’t help mentioning that thisactivity was also pleasant for my Mum, because she wasthe direct beneficiary of the final product: she ate all my

Today has been the last day spent in Slovenia. We attended the Certificate Awarding Festivity, during which I tried to deliver a Good bye andThank you speech, which unfortunately failed, because I burst out crying. I couldn’t stop mytears which were the expression of the regretthat such a beautiful experience had to come toan end. After we took some pictures, I sang“Valerie” and “Mon mec a moi” and together withmy schoolmates we performed Cup Song.

It has been a tremendous opportunity for meto discover a part of Europe, which has beenunknown to me up to now, to meet teachers andstudents from many countries, to develop myInfo and Coding skills, to practice speaking inEnglish , to learn working in team and – why not?
