MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Walnut is a company that designs jacquard fabrics. What

really differentiates us from ordinary companies is our attitude

towards work. Thinking, acting, and achieving is for a better

state is what walnut does way. We consider walnut’s culture

and systems to be core values and think that it can be the

driving force for new challenges.

We develop and manufacture our own Jacquard fabrics using

WCAD program. With our own manufacturer and design

studio, we have worked to bring together research, design

and manufacturing.

WALNUT designers and engineers study the jacquard fabrics

and consult with clients. Because of adding the latest

weaving machines, produce various jacquard fabrics.

WCAD

WCAD is a CAD program for designing and weaving struc-

tures of Jacquard fabric. WCAD’s convenient and distinctive

features improve the ef�ciency of your design and weaving

process.

Walnut has its own design studio and weaving factory so we can

respond to various requests of clients and maintain fabric quality.

Process of making jacquard fabric

Planning

After consulting with a client, we plan the design, size, density,

pattern, material, color of jacquard fabric.

Designing

We start with what we planned and then choose the �nal design

through various designs.

Sampling

We produce fabric samples by changing the material, color and so

on for the quality of the product.

Weaving

We start weaving main fabric according to the production schedule.

STUDIO &FACTORY

Equipped with Stäubli Jacquard machines (range: 2,688

-14,336 hooks) and rapier weaving machines ( width: 60 -

120 inch), Walnut produce jacquard home furnishing fabrics

such as bedding, umbrella, carpet, curtain, wallpaper, etc.
