Publicity and Promotion for Marillian avenue• Marillian avenue could by publicized on TV shows such as the album chart show with Tesco

entertainment and the Hollyoaks music show with Matalan.co.uk. These programs will have lots of upcoming and unsigned bands and artists. On this program they would probably be interviewed and then will play one of their songs. This would be a good place for Marillian Avenue to go and perform because there will be all sorts of record labels watching that program because hey want to find fresh young artists.

• They could be featured on a radio show like XFM. XFM radio is a well known radio station in London and plays mainly rock music. This help them because when people hear of them they will be able to go on their MySpace page and listen to their songs. They would be placed on the radio show Xposure which is a radio show XFM run to publicize upcoming and unsigned artists.

• They could be put into a magazine like Q magazine may have a page full of the profile and web addresses of upcoming artists. This would really reach out to their target audience because people aged 16-25 will buy the Q magazine and Marillian Avenue.

• Also Marillian Avenue will have a promotional video which will create publicity as it will be on YouTube and people can see it there.

• Marillian Avenue will synergize will companies like Twitter and FaceBook which will allow the fans to find out what the band are up to and when and where they are holding their next gig.

Promotion via Merchandise for Marillian Avenue

• Clothing could be sold by Marillian via their website. The clothing that they would sell would sell would have to fit in with their target audiences likes and not their dislikes.

• At a concert Marillian Avenue could give away lots of key rings and clothing items. This would make people like Marillian Avenue even more than they already do.

• Marillian Avenue may run competitions to make people get involved and make a £500 reward this would give people a reason to listen and follow Marillian Avenue as they always do competition.
