He was born Stanley Ketch before he came a member of the order. He had been a member of the Jack of all trades longer than he cared to admit. His prior life before his induction was a distant memory. His parents came to mind occasionally as distance shadows of his past. While in college he had been recruited by the brotherhood with the promise to help rid the world of evil. He didn’t realize that the deeds he would do were unforgiveable the night he signed up. Never again would he go by the name Stanley. Never again would he be the man he once was.

Mr. and Mrs. Ketch had a lot of children and they were extremely poor. They knew that they would not be able to survive. Mrs. Ketch knew of a lady that bought children from exchange of money. Mrs. Ketch without consulting her husband took their youngest son to this lady because of there horrible situation. When the woman who bought children saw the small boy she knew that there was something different about him. He didn’t cry like all the other children she had and he didn’t like to play with the other children. One day a Jack of all trades came to the woman because his job was find new recruit’s. When the Jack came to the woman for a child he thought he should raise the child so he can become a Jack of all trades.

When the Jack came to the woman for a child he thought he should raise the child so he can become a Jack of all trades. The woman showed him boys that were strong and handsome but the Jack knew that they did not fit the description of a Jack of all trades. When he saw young Ketch he knew instantly that the boy Ketch would become a Jack of all trades. When he told the woman that Ketch would be the one that he would take the woman was surprised but didn’t care because she was getting money and that was all that mattered to her. When the Jack though of where to put the boy Ketch, Jack decided he would put him in the same school where Mr. Dandy son went but he had to make sure that there was no instance where the two boys would cross. Out of convince the boy Ketch went to a private school and was never told that he had a family or that he would become part of an order that only a few select knew existed.  During the holidays all the other children would go home to there families but not the boy Ketch who had no family. During the holiday while at school the boy Ketch was out when he noticed a secret meeting going on inside the school.

The Jack of all trades were unaware that the boy Ketch was spying on them and that he had heard all about the crimes that were being committed and then concealed. While spying on them one of the Jacks noticed the boy Ketch and took him into the meeting and told the others what he was doing. Some of the Jacks said that it would be best to kill the boy because he knew to much information. But the Jack that had gotten the boy etch form the woman said that he had been guiding him so one day he would be n the order. The other Jacks said but he knows too much information, Mr. Dandy than said to the Jacks that they boy would stay alive and he said to the man Jack who had gotten the boy Ketch that it was his responsibility to teach him of the order and to train him accordingly and that way and only hat way would the boy be able to stay alive. That day the boy Ketch was part of the order that would determine that rest of his life.

Jack Ketch came into this world to loving parents. He grew up in a stable home until the age of 7 when his world was turned upside down. His mother died in labor along with the new baby. Jack was devastated. From this point on his father was never the same. He was sent to a boarding school overseas. Jack was withdrawn from his peers for his first few years there. Eventually he met a friend who had been through similar hardships as Jack. Together they forged through the joys and difficulties that school had to offer them. One day they were approached by a man with dark greasy hair. He told them of a new club starting at the school and he wanted them as co-presidents. The boys were thrilled with the chance to be a part of something. They had always been outcast and jumped at the opportunity.

Now this was no ordinary club, they were required to swear an oath to protect their fellow members. A year after Jack and his friend joined they learned some exciting news. The club would join in a quest to defeat a dangerous foe. All were ecstatic to prove their diligence and dedication by completing the task, but only one was chosen to do it… it was not Jack Ketch. Devastated by the defeat Jack and his friend wanted to get out of the order. They soon found out this was impossible. Scared, and desperate Jack and his friend were plotting their escape. On the night they were planning to escape Jack’s friend mysteriously disappeared without a trace.

Two young teens were out on the streets one day when they stumbled upon a mystery. A man was walking from the scene of it. His gloves bloodied by the life he’d taken. As he walked to bury his gloves in a restaurant dumpster, he spotted them. One of them was tall and broad for his age, the other short and blonde. Mr. Dandy had been a member of the order long before the birth of either of these young men, but now he had no choice. They had seen too much. They must either commit their lives to the order, or find themselves in a similar predicament as the woman who just refused his advances.

He had been waiting for an opportunity to bring more boys into his fold. Mr. Dandy was the chapter leader of the Jack of all Trades. His numbers had been waning lately due to the death of several older members. It was said that the 4 older gentlemen had died of natural causes, but Dandy knew better. Ever since the child of prophecy had been born, the gentlemen of the order had been disappearing without a trace. These two boys were just what he needed to keep his chapter in good standing with the order. No chapter is complete without 13 members or more.

Bruce Tar and Henry Nimble had been living on the streets for the past 6 months. Before that they were foster children in a home together. Their foster mother had died and her husband had become abusive. The scars on their backside were an indication of this. As Mr. Dandy approached the two, Henry’s natural instinct was to run, but Bruce held him in place because he was frozen in fear. The two young orphans were wowed by the charming Dandy. His promises of wealth, power and shelter were enough to convince the boys to join in his ranks. Mr. Dandy looked at them as apprentices. How fun it would be for him to mold these young minds into his little soldiers. Surely he would train them properly for the war that lay ahead. Bruce and Henry were gone for good. All that remained was Jack.

Over the years, the boys grew into men. Tar worked as a body guard for Dandy, while Nimble worked in his political campaigns. Dandy had been in office for over a decade, making sure the Jack’s were able to get away with murder. The rumors of the Jack’s disappearances made Dandy even more determined to create laws to harm those who would hurt him. After 15 years, it had all come to a head. Few Jack’s remained. He took comfort in the two sons he had raised. Jack’s just like him.

Some he was small boy he knew that his father was in a troublesome job. He did not have a mother because Senior Dandy knew that she would not let him be in the trade. Senior Dandy was the most important Jack of all trades. He knew that his son one day would become his replacement and wanted to raise him for such a position. Mr. Dandy went to private school where his father made a lot of generous donations to the school. This made Mr. Dandy untouchable. While Mr. Dandy was young his father taught him tricks that no father should teach their son. Mr. Dandy grew up knowing many tricks and was able to master some tricks. When Mr. Dandy was a teenager he continued going to the private school but would sometimes sneak out to commit trouble elsewhere. One day he was caught stealing from the local grocery store and when the police brought him back he got in trouble form his father not for stealing but because he was caught. There was one assignment that required a young boy as use for prey that is when Senior Dandy said to the other Jacks of all trades that it was time for his son to join the trade.

Mr. Nimble grew up with no father, no mother, no siblings, and no family. He grew up in an orphanage and hated his life. He hated life because he saw other people that were happy and they all had families. While growing up Nimble was a troublesome young man, he would constantly be stealing, lying, and running away from the orphanage. While growing up he learn some tricks that allowed him not to be caught. When he reached the age where he could no longer live in the orphanage he lived on the streets living off of what he had stolen. He sometimes would get caught but when he was released he than would be stealing again. He didn’t believe in have friends because he though that having friends would make him weak. One day a Jack from the order noticed him.

Jack Nimble

Page 16: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

The Jack noticed that he was able to steal and get away with it, that he had no family, and no home. After some time that the Jack watched Nimble, the man Jack asked Nimble to do a couple of jobs for him and promised him a lot of money. Nimble was suspicious at first but then decided that he would give it a try. The Jack of the order kept using Nimble to complete so crimes that no other man could complete. After a long time of working together the Jack of the order invited Nimble to become part of the order.

Mr. Tar was the last one of the Jacks to be in the order. All of his generations had been in the trades and since he was young he knew that he would be in the order. He father was disappointed in him because he expected so much out of him. He was not the sharpest in school, and every time that he would try to steal he would get caught. His father thought that his son would be different and that he could join the order but seeing how he was he did not think that his son would ever become part of the order. As Mr. Tar grew older his father was disappointed every time he was caught steeling or would not be able to commit a complete crime. One day while on assignment Mr. Tar was the one who was able to complete the assignment out if pure accident. One of the other Jacks in the trade saw that he was finally capable and told the jack in charge and that is how Mr. Tar was able to join the order.

Dandy, Tar, Nimble… what a tale they have. They lived in a small shed down by the river. This was strange considering the size of the youngest Tar. A peculiar group they were, keeping to themselves, never uttering a word. To add to their strangeness they all shared the name of Jack. This was a name that had been passed down for centuries. Simple in phrase, but carried deep meaning. To them Jack was a calling, a destiny. They learned from a young age what it meant to be a Jack. They were taught by their father, who was taught by his father, who was taught by his father and on and on.

Something changed when this threesome came of age, unlike their ancestors there was a force out in the world threatening their brotherhood. They had to do something about it. Although not commissioned to be lead on this fight, the brothers yearned to capture this force and make their mark of the world.

It was foretold many years before he was born that a son of a son of a son of a Jack would be the only one who could potentially take out the boy of prophecy. Jack Frost was born with his name. His father was in the order, as was his father before him. His grandfather had been in the ice business. The last name Frost had been given to the family from this profession. Jack Frost had a lot of weight on his shoulders from a very young age knowing that he had the potential to take down a monster. From the tender age of 3 his father began training him for what was to come. He taught Jack how to sneak up on people without making a sound. Instead of toys for his birthday, he was given various weapons. It started out innocently enough with a jump rope at the age of 5. His father then proceeded to show his son how it may be used to end a life. Watching his pet rabbit hang lifelessly from the garage ceiling was more than he could bear. As the years progressed so did his lack of feeling. As a young teen he was often found with blood on his hands from one animal or another. His weapon of choice was a blade. It didn’t matter what form. He felt a major rush whenever he saw a trickle of red leaving a living creature. The warmth of the blood gave him a sense of comfort.

As a young adult, animals no longer held any excitement for him. His father arranged for Jack to do “special jobs” for his fellow Jacks. Anyone who threatened the order would be paid a visit from the young Mr. Frost. He worked silently, spending mere seconds with each of his victims. As his father lay dying on his death bed, Jack finally got the call. The boy of prophecy had been born several months earlier. The Jack’s had been working constantly to find his home. The night was dark as Jack set out to finish off the boy. He entered the house without a sound. The first bedroom he found held the parents of the boy. With his skills, they didn’t even have a chance to react before they were gone. Their eyes did open as the attack happened. Their final view in this life was Jack’s horrible smile. The girl was a bit tricky. Unlike her parents, she wiggled in her sleep. He waited several minutes in her room until she was still. The last room had the door open. He went in hurriedly to the crib. To his astonishment, it was empty.

Jack ran up and down the street trying to find the babe. He thought he caught a glimpse of him in the graveyard up the hill. Unfortunately it was just a bunny hopping by. When he arrived home to tell his father what had happened, he was greeted by his mother at the door. His father had left this life just after Jack had gone for the night. Perhaps it was best that his dad didn’t know of his failure. Perhaps in his father’s eyes he was still the chosen killer who had a chance to take down the boy of prophecy. For Jack, he had little sorrow at his father’s passing. He was all ready numb to emotion.

He got into the order because his father was in the trade, As a young man Jack didn’t know that his father was in the trade. During the day his father worked as a salesman, the kind of job that would make him a busy man. Sometimes Jacks father would have to travel because he was a salesman but none of his family knew that he would have to travel because he was part of exclusive order. Jack mother did not care that her husband would have to travel; she did not suspect that her husband was involved in such a trade. One day while Jack was young, Jack got caught stealing and was sent to the office. While in the office his father appeared suddenly and they left the school suddenly and Jack was not in trouble at all.

Page 24: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

B

That day Jack knew that if he wanted to steal he could because his father would be there to get his out of any trouble he was in. When Jack graduated high school he had practiced many crimes that made his father proud and learned that he was untouchable. That night of graduation his father invited him to a meeting with the Jacks of all trades and that is how Jack Frost became part of the order.

Frost they called him. It wasn’t his given name, it was a nickname. One he had acquired on the playground as a young boy. He had never shown any mercy to anyone, thus they said he was as cold as ice. Frost had endured a rough upbringing, bouncing around from home to home. It was difficult to get to know him because of his “frosty” exterior. He was a peculiar boy, but man was he a sweet talker. He never got in trouble! He would always talk his way out of any situation. As he grew older this proved to be essential to the almost impossible tasks he would encounter.

When Frost made it to college he was a star student. He could basically sell anything to placed in front of him. One day a man approached him about his gift. He begged him to join a group where their were others like him. Frost had never felt like he belonged anywhere, until he stepped foot in the first meeting of this man’s group. Here he found peace, here he found his niche.

Page 26: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

c

Soon he realized he was very good and getting what he wanted. He could obtain any information he wanted out of anyone. As he progressed in this group the tasks became more gruesome. First if started out as simple interrogations, now they had plunged much deeper. It was difficult at first for Frost to deal with the terrible things he had done, but now he had become numb to it.

He was called in to meet with the director of the club. He was told that he was going to be advanced in the club, but he had to complete one final task. This task was unlike the others he had received, this one involved a child. Frost struggled for a few nights wrapping his mind around what he was about to do. He was required to take down an infant that could drag down his beloved club of the Jacks. He knew he had to do it, he had no other choice.

That night as he crept into the home, he felt numb. He knew his task and he was going to finish it. They family members were easy, quick slit of the throat and they were gone. When he finally reached the infant’s room, it was gone. That was the last thing he really remembered… everything else it blurry. He had to find the child… he had to finish the job.

Night at the Graveyard─ Mr. Ketch

A

After fifteen year of searching the man Jack Ketch came across the child of prophecy. His discovery moved him up in the order. He now was considered valuable. To his dismay he was once again looked past for the execution. For 15 years he never understood how Jack Frost had weaseled his way into the hierarchy of the order. He had failed at the simplest of tasks, offing a baby. Yet once again he was awarded this life changing job. Perhaps it was because Frost was born to a member of the order. He had been trained for this his entire life. Yet still when the time came he choked. Ketch feared the same fate would be had on the fateful night. He knew that the order couldn’t fail again. He called his friends and rallied them in case Frost was a failure once more. Within an hour he was called into action at the once passed over graveyard. The boy there was not human, nor was his dead. His powers were beyond what the order had imagined.

Page 29: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

A

All at once the Jack Ketch found himself in the bottom of a grave broken and battered. Bones protruded from his bent leg. While writhing in pain he reflected on his life in the order. Did his contributions matter? Would the boy succeed in his task? He thought of the life he gave up. No wife, no children, no one who cared for him. Did his life amount for anything? Before long, a dark shadow covered the tomb. He saw glowing eyes pierce through his soul and felt a cold hand touch his head. Then everything went black.

What happened to him?

Mr. Ketch only does what he is told by Mr. Dandy. He hates the fact that he is under Mr. Dandy he feels that he should have been selected to be in charge when senior Dandy was killed. Mr. Ketch feels that he would have been a better selection as the new leader for the order. When Mr. Dandy tells Mr. Ketch that they will be going to get the Dorian boy, Mr. Ketch is wondering why five of the Jacks are going on one assignment. Mr. Ketch does not know that the five Jacks going on the assignment are the only Jacks that remain in the order.

What happened to him?

Now, some years later, Ketch was a very different man. He grieved the loss of his friend for many years and had now become numb to any feeling whatsoever. All the had left was the order. He faithfully served and completed any mission assigned to him. He caught wind of the failure of an man named Frost. He knew he should have been chosen for the job, he would have done it right.

He received a call that the boy was found. This was his moment, this was his time to revenge the loss of his friend, this was Jack Ketch’s time to be the hero of the story!

He reached the graveyard and immediately spotted the boy. He followed him along a windy path. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye it was all over. He was trapped in a deep grave. How could this had happened, he was suppose to get the boy!

They had gone on many missions for their leader, but none was as important as the one they were facing tonight. They arrived at the house and waited for the cue. It never came. Up to the graveyard they went in search of the boy. Dandy knew that Frost wouldn’t be able to pull it off. He had seen him fail throughout his time with the order. He and Frost were inducted on the same day, but since Frost went first, he had more seniority. Dandy saw that changing after tonight. He was to be the one to take the child of prophecy down. With Tar and Nimble at his side, he felt sure of it. His useful sons were willing companions to follow him everywhere. He enjoyed the control he had over them.

They spotted the boy and followed him to a grave. Within a brief second, Dandy saw the grave open. To his horror he watched as both Tar and Nimble slipped into the void. Anger raged inside him as he grabbed for his gun. The earth trembled and he lost his footing. He now was hanging on the edge unsure of what lied beneath him. The cursed boy began to close the portal before he had a chance to look. He fell quickly to the earth of the unknown universe. Tar and Nimble were there to pick him up. They wandered aimlessly through the land.

What happened to them?

Mr. Dandy was the man in charge and he did not want the order to be over but he knew that there were only five Jacks in the order left. When news got to him that Mr. Frost was unable to get the Dorian boy he knew that he had to get all the Jacks together to get the Dorian boy that was eliminating the Jacks of the trade. Mr. Dandy knew that the boy was special but he did not know much more of the boy. Mr. Dandy was the one that instructed Mr. Frost to get the Dorian boy before the week was over and if his did not Jack Frost would be out of the trade.

Jack Dandy

Page 35: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

Mr. Nimble only does what he is told by Mr. Dandy. Mr. Nimble was always sent on assignments alone because he had proven himself. All the assignments that had been given to him were complete with the exact instructions. One day while out on assignment to cover up the Jack of all trades, he heard that the Jacks were slowly disappearing and the order would soon come to an end. When Mr. Nimble asked Mr. Dandy about this Mr. Dandy told Mr. Nimble that the order was fine but that the Dorian boy had not been caught and then was asked to help with the assignment. Mr. Nimble thought it rally weird that he would be going on an assignment with four other Jacks. When Nimble tried to investigate what Dandy had told him, Nimble found out that that there were only five Jacks left in the trade and the Dorian boy was at fault and the Mr. Frost was unable to kill him. When Mr. Nimble found this out he was fine that he was going on an assignment with four other Jacks but he knew that he would kill the Dorian boy to save the order.

Jack Nimble

Mr. Tar only did what he is told by Mr. Dandy. He was never sent on assignment because none of the people from the order had any trust in him and he was more useful as Mr. Dandy personal assistant. Mr. Tar hated that he was not trusted because he though that he was capable of completing an assignment. This was a major reason that Mr. Tar was one of the five remaining Jacks. That night that Mr. Dandy decided to take all the Jacks to find the boy Mr. Tar went and he tough that if he caught the boy Mr. Dandy would put him on more assignments.

Unfortunately, they were not chosen to defeat the boy. They were assigned lower level jobs. They were the “muscle” of the Jacks. They caught wind of the failure of Frost. They scoffed because the so called chosen one had fallen!

Years later they received a call. Dandy answered, thinking it was just another “bang up” job. To his amazement they were called to help Frost bring down the boy. Dandy told the others, they were thrilled with the chance to move up in the order!

That night, the three came up with their game plan. They would use their expertise in force to trap the boy. The only problem was… he wasn’t just a boy. There was something supernatural about him. His powers were no match for their strength. In a last desperate effort Dandy tried to protect his brothers, but ultimately failed. They all fell down the dreaded GHOUL GATE…

A

For 15 years, Mr. Frost had worked tirelessly at trying to find the boy. Over the last year, he spent many afternoons on the street where he had taken the boy’s family from this world. The graveyard up the hill was extra intriguing to him. Perhaps there would be a clue here of what had happened to the boy. Was it really a rabbit he saw that night? While making some grave rubbings, Mr. Frost befriended a teenage girl. If this boy was around, surely this lovely thing could be of some assistance. He charmed the girl and spent several nights choking down the girls mother’s cooking. He had nearly given up hope that he would be able to find the boy through her, but then it happened. Without much warning, the man Jack found himself walking down the hill to the empty home of his enemy. He convinced the evil child to follow him upstairs. He nearly finished his job that he started in that home, but the boy escaped again. This time Jack knew exactly where he went.

He chased around the graveyard looking for his final mark. He followed him down to a tomb that was pitch black. He started to hear voices and see treasure. The voice was looking for a ruler. It spoke in riddles he didn’t understand. The precious items it was guarding were of great value to Jack. Before he knew it, he was wrapped within the Sleer’s darkness…

What happened to him?

Jack Frost knew that the trade member were mad at him because he was unable to get the boy. He though the order was losing trust in him because they had not given him another assignment since he was unable to finish the job with the boy. Frost knew that the other would have been less successful than he was but knew that time was coming up for him to catch the boy. One day while Frost was at the graveyard he came across Scarlet. For weeks before he became Jack Frost who studied the graveyard and bought the house where Bod’s family was killed, he observed Scarlett and what she did and the conversations she and her mother had. When Scarlet said that there was as boy that lived in the graveyard that was not dead, Frost knew that it was the Dorian boy.

Page 41: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

B

He did not want to jump into anything really fast because he has messed up previously so he decided to make himself a new charter that Scarlet would trust and that is the way he would get to the boy. When Frost was walking around the town he walked passed by the house where the boy was from and when he saw the house and knew that he had Scarlet’s trust he decided that he would buy the house and that would help him finish the job. Frost was annoyed because the order was putting so much pressure on the boy but Frost did not know that the order only was five Jacks.

Failure. The most feared word in the world of the Jacks. Frost had failed. What shame he felt for letting down his brothers. For years he let the guilt and shame tear him up. He lost his charm and charisma, until one day he met a young girl. She was beautiful, yet there was something very different about her. He immediately fell back into his old ways and sweet talked this girl into letting him eat dinner with her and her mother. He built her trust, he just knew there was something different about her. One day he found out what that was. This girl had met his mark, the young boy he was suppose to get rid of so many years ago. He knew this was his chance to redeem himself. He tricked the girl into bringing her friend to an abandon home. He felt the boys presence and immediately knew he was the one, the one he had been searching for.

Quickly he got the boy alone. The boy was smart and escaped from Frost’s grasp. Not again… Frost thought I cannot fail again! He raced to the graveyard sure that he would find the boy there. He noticed his fellow Jack’s efforts to catch the boy had failed. He knew it was up to him.

He knew the way to get to the boy was to find the girl. He followed her sent down a winding staircase into a deep grave. He felt the onslaught of fear. He heard whisperings that made his skin crawl, they begged for a master.

It all happened so fast, he was tricked. He agreed to be their master. He was trapped… what had he done! The boy was getting away!

In a hospital wing the next week, Stanley Ketch lay sleeping. Sitting next to his bed were anxious parents who had been searching for their boy for decades. Now elderly folk, they had given up hope of ever finding their sweet boy. Yet here he was. They said he had amnesia. He appeared in the emergency room just after midnight. How he got there was a mystery to the staff. He was rushed into surgery to fix a severely broken leg and other internal injuries. No one knew how he came to be in such a bad way. The doctor’s figured he fell from a great height and landed on something solid. It would take weeks to recover. Luckily for him, his parents were there to take him home.

Waking up in his childhood bed, Stanley felt safe. He wasn’t sure where he was, but he had a sense of peace that he hadn’t encountered for many years. He saw faces he recognized and tried to exclaim his happiness. To his surprise, no sound escaped his tongue. He tried again, sure that it must be some sort of joke. The more he tried, the harder it became. He could no longer speak, but he wasn’t sure why. In fact Stanley couldn’t remember anything about his adult life. His earliest memory was being a college freshman heading into the campus bookstore. What had he done with his life? That would remain a mystery. Stanley was home, but he was mute. This tortured his soul. What had he done to deserve this? This secret went with him to his grave. He died a pauper and was buried in a shallow grave in an old abandoned graveyard on the hill.

Mr. Ketch has fallen into a grave and has severely broken his leg. He is unable to get up or move because of the pain. He screams for help but no one comes to his aid. He hears someone approaching and tried to hide but Silas already knows that he is in there. Silas is then able to get Mr. Ketch out of the grave. Silas wipes all his memory away, everything including who he was, how he became part of the order and everything about the Dorian boy. Silas convinces him to move as far away as possible which Mr. Ketch does and doesn’t question anything about his move or his past life.

Distraught by his current condition, Ketch fought desperately to climb his way out of the deep grave. He assessed his injuries and concluded a broken leg, arm, and a few ribs. With each lung his body was wracked with pain. Suddenly a man appeared above him, he knew him from somewhere but he just couldn’t place it. Flecks of light etched into Ketch’s vision because of the pain. He was about to give up, but again he saw the man. He called out to him, but there was no reply. Finally Ketch gave up and laid on the damp floor. He looked up and saw the face of the man. He knew him. The man reached out to Ketch. Ketch grasped his hand. It was his best friend, the one he had lost so many years ago. He had come to save him.

There were now two new ghost in the graveyard, sharing one grave.

Where is Dandy, Nimble, and Tar Now?

Page 50: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

It happened first to Nimble, his skin wrinkled and dried. His eyes changed to a shade of unnatural red. His voice dropped 2 octaves and his body compressed. He looked just like the others they had been hiding from the past several months. Tar soon followed. They always did everything together, why should now be any different. The transformation seemed to happen overnight. The two licked their lips at the sight of Dandy. No longer was he the father that had given them refuge. No longer was he the teacher who showed them how to cover their tracks. He was flesh and they were hungry.

A new ghost entered the graveyard that night that went by the name Dandy. He came through the ghoul gate. He wasn’t welcomed by any. He was tortured by that. His white hair now matched the rest of his spirit. He floated aimlessly through the night finding no peace or refuge. His afterlife was eternally dreadful. He lost all that he had worked for and had nothing or no one to show for it.

Mr. Dandy is more interested because of that Bod told him. Mr. Dandy wonders if all that Bod told him about the ghouls are true. Mr. Dandy hides for a while bit when found by the ghouls. The ghouls decide not to wipe his memory because they think it will ne more useful to tem with his memory and his unknown talents.  When the ghouls are talking with Mr. Dandy the find all they want about the Dorian Boy. The ghouls eat Mr. Dandy because they have no more use for him. Mr. Dandy is under the impression that the other Jacks have the Dorian boy and he has no idea that that night the order is no longer.

Mr. Nimble has fallen into the ghoul gate with Mr. Dandy, Mr. Tar, and himself. He is hoping that Mr. Dandy or Mr. Tar will help him escape the ghouls. He cries out to them but has no luck. The ghouls see him and immediately wipe his memory. They eat him and his death is very painful.

Mr. Tar is the first to get eaten by the ghouls. He is the first to fall into the ghoul gate and the ghouls think that it is Bod who they will be eating because it was Bod who opened the ghoul gate. The ghouls are excited to eat Bod because they were so close to eating him the first time and now they were mad at him because they were not able to eat him.

Fear. Where were they. They knew that had fallen down a Ghoul Gate but where were they? They shortly found out. It happened to Dandy first. He began to loose his mind. Slowly he morphed into a creepy figure, strangely resembling a famous actor at the time. They had lost him he was completely gone.

It happened to Nimble next. His was much different. He simple uttered the same phrase over and over again… “Jack be Nimble, Jack be quick.”He soon wander off into the depths of the gate never to be seen again… “Jack be nimble, Jack be quick…”

Tar was left completely alone. He had lost his brothers. He was given the chose by the ghouls, to stay the was he was or to transform. The only thing Tar wanted was to be with his brothers again. He decided to be transformed into a ghoul. He took of the persona of a rugged athlete.

They were never the same again, and never saw each other again. The peculiar group was disbanded. Never to be one again.

He could no longer see the boy or the tomb. He was in an empty black space with no one to keep him company, no one except the voices in his head. He remained in darkness until he could take it no longer. Jack then knew who his final kill would be.

On the darkest nights in the graveyard, a solemn shadow creeps over the tomb. He has no voice, only voices in his head.

Jack Frost was taken with the sleer. The sleer took Jack Frost into the wall and that is where his will be. The sleer plan to maintain Jack Frost in the wall because that is how they know how to protect their new master. The want to protect their new master so they feel that him dying is no way to protect him. They hold him within their coils so that they can constantly make sure that he is safe. When Jack Frost tries to escape the sleer repeat that he is there master and the sleer guard their master. The sleer never kill Jack Frost but as time passes and he has no food and water Jack Frost dies and the sleer hold onto his body still repeating that the sleer guard there master.

Frost end was fairly simple. Wrecked with grief of another failure, trapped in the snare of the “protection” of the Sleer, Frost lost his mind. He pleaded with the voices to stop. He begged for the nightmare to be over! But this would never be, even in death he was trapped in the deep cave. He would never have a happy ending. He lived with is guilt for the rest of his days on into the eternities. Oh and the voices were there too…

It had been 15 years since Bod had been to the graveyard. His childhood home had changed over the years. He was proud of that. It was now tended to properly and had even been extended to make room for more graves. The row houses down the street no longer stood. The home where he nearly lost his life twice existed no more. That was a thing of the past.

At first, Bod traveled the world, exploring all of the places he had only read about in books. In each exotic local, he couldn’t help by wander through a graveyard or two in hopes of seeing images of what he’d lost. Eventually, he gave up on that hope and moved on to something else. His final trip took him to Scotland, where he enrolled in college at The University of Edinburgh. While there he crossed paths once again with his childhood friend Scarlett.

Page 61: Jack Ketch Jack Ketch Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Dandy, Jack Tar, Jack Nimble Jack Frost Jack Frost.

Although she couldn’t quite remember where she knew him from, she felt instantly at ease with the tall lanky lad. Their courtship was magical. He was always a gentleman and had very elegant manners and speech. Scarlett was an English Language major and it pleased her to no end that he always used proper grammar. He would take her on dates to places that she had never thought to visit before. They spent hours at the library devouring books together. She even found a date to the graveyard romantic. The only trouble she found with the man she loved was discussing his past. Each time she brought it up; he shied away from the question. When he did finally tell of his life, it seemed so fantastical to her, that she had a hard time believing it. After all who grows up in a graveyard?

After 5 years of wedded bliss, the young couple brought their first born daughter to a graveyard on a hill. She had been a very mild baby from the beginning. Now as a toddler, she fearlessly waddled through the stones. Often times she would stop and point at things her parents couldn’t see. Laughs would escape her lips with no explanation. Finally she squealed, “Grandma” with a jovial voice. Her mother looked confused as she turned to try and find her mother. Her father knew better. For his daughter was standing by a beloved spot in the graveyard the Owens’s tomb.
