Jacardo is honest and reliable. Very willing to work and works well. The walk has sufficient scope and is active. The trot has sufficient scope and power. Canter is carried well with sufficient scope and power. Rides well and closes well in dressage. Very good use of the foreleg. Great deal of talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feel. Good technique and bascule in the jump, and possesses sufficient ability. He has a sufficient to more than sufficient amount of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feel. Well-known stallions out of his bloodline are Zeoliet, G Ramiro Z, Abgar, and Lucky Boy. Jacardo is also related to Olympic Biraldo, A fabulous Grand Prix horse that was sold to America just before he was invited for the World Championships with Coby van Baalen. Jacardo is a beautiful dark-coloured stallion, approved by the KWPN (Royal Dutch Breeding Association). His children are all very true to type, just like their father. And they seem to have the talents of their father. Jacardo started competing at young age. In 1997 he was winner of the Dutch stallion competition. Later on he competed at 3th level and won a lot. His basic-gaits are powerful, supple, absolutely first class. When approved, he received the following numbers: walk: 8 trot: 8 canter: 8 character: 9 rideability: 9. For an approved stallion he's very sweet and easy. When riding him, you feel very well balanced and comfortable. He's very easy to ride and willing to perform. You can compete at high level and breed with this approved Dutch stallion at the same time! A dream horse! Jacardo is KWPN approved and is now Grand Prix dressage with an index (146). Jacardo is of the best lineage of Holland. His mother is level 2 dressage and had an IBOP score of 72. His grandmother is prestatsie, preferent, level 2 dressage and is the mother of Olympic Biraldo.

Elcaro came to the fore as one of the best of his year during the 1989 performance test. His foals have inherited striking fronts together with a notable good use of the hind legs. Elcaro further distinguished himself by his outstanding trot. Elcaro's dam, Ritacara (by Luckyboy), is of the illustrious Cara-lineage, which has its roots in the north of the Netherlands. In addition, Elcaro's sire, Zeoliet, is by the well known G Ramiro Z. Ability, longlife and soundness are the trademarks of these lineages.

The following information on Abgar, Ramiro, Pion and Darwin is taken from the USA Equestrian web site (formerly ahsa.org): "It is interesting to note the heavy influence of the Thoroughbred stallion Abgar in this small population of dressage sires. The 1997 leader Volckmar is an Agbar son, while above-mentioned Zeoliet is the product of an Abgar daughter bred to Ramiro. (This same formula is found in the pedigree of Rolando, who is the sire of Jane Clark's Rainier, Robert Dover's mount in Sydney.) In addition, the 1999 champion stallion, Darwin, is out of a daughter of Pion, an Abgar son. Abgar is probably best known in this country as a source of jumpers. Both of the show jumping stallions, V.I.P. (Joost/Abgar xx) and Ommen (Abgar xx/Joost) are examples. Neither is Abgar's sire, Abernant, a stranger to international sport. Abernant himself produced more than one international show jumping powerhouse, the most notable being Aberali."

The foals by Jacardo formed a uniform group. They were sufficiently to well developed and showed refinement. They were of good rectangular shape. The heads were expressive. The foals had a nice front. The necks were a good length. The withers were long and sufficiently developed. The sufficiently long croups had good shape and muscling. Their walk had sufficient scope. The foals trotted easily. They made good use of their front legs and pushed off well from behind. The following offspring are competing in Holland: L level - Nicardo, Neef, Nestor, Nintendo, N (at L and B level), Odette and Obelix. B level - Nelenza, Noelle, Noblesse, Nurejev, Ninja, Orlandia Orsini, O'Neill, Ocardo, Odin Henri, and Olverra.
