OUTREACH RESOURCES FOOD PANTRY NOTES
June Pantry Note
"June is busting out all over..." as the song goes. And
June is the best month for parties and get-togethers.
There's Father's Day, graduations, end-of-exam parties
and beginning-of-summer parties. What's good to eat?
Strawberries, rhubarb, broccoli and fresh garden lettuce!
And don't forget to break out the grill for dear ol' dad. So
the pantry could use all the cookout foods & condiments
like pickles, olives, relishes, and salad fixings. We also
need canned fruit and crackers. Thank you to all those
who keep us going!
My husband John's favorite on Father's Day is Rhubarb
Brunch Cake: Make a yellow cake mix according to
directions. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
Top with 4 cups sliced rhubarb. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar
and pour 2 cups heavy or whipping cream over top. Bake
at 350 for 60 to 75 minutes until toothpick in center comes
out clean. And watch the miracle happen! The cake rises
to the top and the cream and sugar form a custard on the
bottom. We like it refrigerated and served upside down
for all that custardy goodness. Enjoy!

Pantry Manager

NEW DRIVER'S LICENSE & ID APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
As of March 26, 2018 individuals need documentation showing U.S. citizenship or lawful presence to get or renew any driver’s
license, ID card, or learner’s permit. In a nutshell, U.S. citizens will need to show a valid, unexpired U.S. passport or a certified
copy of their U.S. birth certificate when renewing their driver’s license. For permanent residents, a valid permanent resident
card (green card) is sufficient proof of lawful presence. The RMV has created a special Info center on their website where customers can find the details they need about documentation
requirements. This section includes specific information for non-U.S. citizens, drivers over the age of 75, learner’s permit
holders, and those new to MA.
