Hebrews 1:1-3 “God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Jesus’ power helps us do hard things Jesus’ power gives us hope Jesus’ power lets us live forever If Jesus’ power helps us accomplish the impossible, what are our next steps? Matthew 28:16-20 “And Jesus came up and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Jesus’ invitation is dependent upon his power, not ours Jesus promises to remain close as we embrace this invitation Response: Talk to at least one friend or family member this week about helping each other do the things Jesus has called us to do.
