FEATURED PROJECT: SkyZone PTP Business Intelligence MobilePhiladelphia Trampoline Parks (PTP) is a recent franchisee of SkyZone. As they opened their second location, and began working on opening additional locations, they realized that they needed a clean and easy way to monitor the daily sales metrics of each location.

Our solution involved setting up an API system to import their location data to a central database for easier access and accumulation of the data required. A web application was created that focused on a mobile font-end, so a light-weight approach was adopted. Instead of passing fully-populated views to the client, a JSON approach was used where a JavaScript engine was used to transform the data into a fully-functional website that used as little internet traffic as possible. Jasmine was used to unit test the development of the JavaScript code that would ensure any changes would not break the user experience.

FEATURED PROJECT: University of Pennsylvania P2PXThe University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business is one of the premier learning institutions in the country. They desired to create a new networking feature for their alumni to use. This system would allow their graduates to share their expertise with their peers in any trouble space their real-world ventures would take them.

The system that we created for them was a solution similar to that of Facebook where a user could post a problem that they are currently experiencing, and tag it with the various fields of interest that apply to their situation. Other alumni would log into the system, and find that post either by the auto-sorted Main Feed that filtered based on the tags that user had set up, or at the “general feed” that contained everything by most recent activity. Additional filtering could be done as desired. Replies could be made to any open inquiries, and those exchanges would then become private in order to maintain privacy of any trade secrets or personal information shared. An additional system was set up to email users, if desired, to notify them of responses to their posts, or any new activity in their areas of expertise.

FEATURED PROJECT: InnoPrint Kitting ComplianceInnoPrint is a company that does industrial printing. One of their main projects is to print the annual medical insurance packets that we all receive. Due to federal guidelines, they need to ensure that all parts of the packet are present when being shipped to the end customer.

The solution we created read a 2D barcode they added to each sheet via a barcode scanner. This marked that piece off the list of required materials for the packet the worker was assigned to. When the packet was complete, a tone was returned to the scanner denoting completion. The worker would then put the material into the envelope, and scan that as complete. This process allowed InnoPrint to provide real data to their customers that showed 100% compliance for all materials sent out.
